In a hotly contested segment the Honda Accord rises above the competition with excellent styling, abundant tech and safety features and great value. Thusly, once again earning Kelley Blue Book’s midsize sedan Best Buy trophy. Well done, Accord!

100%. Can't believe they brought up reliability - traditionally, yes - but this new batch, it's too early to tell if they are going to keep their value unless Honda comes up with an acceptable fix, I can 't see it staying that way. On the plus side, I don't also remember hearing that manual transmissions are also available with the Accord in multiple trim levels. That's a big one for me.

A CVT is not supposed to shift. If it does look like it's shifting under hard acceleration, that's just some computer programming to "imitate" a regular auto transmission. Otherwise in regular operation it's supposed to hang the rev when you press on the gas.

I'm sure KBB has checklists, criteria, and scoring that factor into their decision in why they determine which vehicles get their "Best Buys" Award. I'm sure they don't randomly just give it away. It would hurt he perception on KBB, if they did. And I'm sure their well aware of that.

Its comical when people don't agree with their picks, don't just slander them for being pro Honda and biased.

But in the end, you can't make everyone happy. Oh well

@Drew Dude I'll take a Nissan Maxima SR over the an Accord. I've owned 3 Accords. Two main issues; horrible transmissions and I needed brake pads every 3 months or so. Two out of the 3 I owned were brand new. No thanks. I wouldn't buy another Accord in 3 lifetime.

I don’t mean to rain on your Honda hate parade but the Camry sales include fleet sales. Honda doesn’t sell to rentals and taxis which is one of he reasons it doesn’t sell as much as the Camry
