If you had said to the engineers at #Jeep, back in the 40's and 50's that one day they would be building a $60K+ 4x4, they'd probably have laughed heartily and said there's absolutely no way. Well now here we are in 2018 and the company has done just that, with a little help from the dying partnership "Daimler Benz". From the diamond quilted leather seats and dual TV screens, to it's fancy air suspension, high strength steel uniframe construction and more, the #Jeep #GrandCherokee #Summit has reached the highest level of luxury it's seen in quite some time. But can this Bentley on a Budget possibly be worth almost $70K? Watch the review to find out!

The interior looks nice. I have a 2015 summit with chocolate brown leather but after coming from a 10 yr old range rover with cream leather seats never again. They always needing cleaning and got a bit tacky when worn and we were clean people. I wish I had that shifter though.

Unfortunately no grand Cherokee in the current lineup offers full factory LED taillights. The tail light function for night driving is an LED light pipe, but the turn signal and brake light indicator bulb is actually a halogen bulb. The reverse lights are halogen bulbs as well.

Not true. My 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit has full factory LED taillights.

Nice job on the review. I just bought this exact vehicle minus the rear entertainment system. I previously had the JGC Overland and was really happy with the vehicle. Not only are these vehicles luxurious (in my mind) but they are very capable off-road. Have taken both through some pretty rough terrain in Moab without a second thought.

Teenage Crime is a great track...also great review. Wife wants a bigger RV, so we need a new rig. The V8 will pull the Grand Design 2400bh with ease. My 16 Cherokee Trailhawk pulled our 17 1/2 Rpod 180 very well. Not ready to give her up...looks like the 14 Crosstrek is getting traded.

jlwagon For those safety minded people he spoke of near the end of the video. I don't know that this would stop me from purchasing, but it does make me pause and consider other vehicles.

I'm sure you noticed that the lens of your camera needed to be cleaned. I wear glasses and kept reflex-reaching to clean them off. Slightly annoying. Great review though. A nice option in the SUV market.

jlwagon I did actually notice that unfortunately my camera lens got a scratch on it and I haven't been able to come up with the money to replace it yet. YouTube doesn't pay me the six figures that they pay some of these other people you know?

Mike Perez the interior is laguna leather package. The seats $5.000. The rear seats dual screen blu-Ray/DVD player extra $2.000 that’s extra $7.000 you have pay to get that type of interior It’s not standard. Good luck to try keep it clean.
HID’S been around for decades. Old technology that’s for sure. Still you have to replace the bulb when they burn it’s not like LED’S. So when some one pay this much of money for 2018/2019 vehicle its should be equipped with the latest technology to make your money well worth it.
The V8 part the SRT make more since then summit for that price tag that’s my opinion.

@Bel Production This has HID's and the interior is way better on this. Also, it has a real luxury suv known as the V8.

Good review, 1 correction. Grand Cherokee does have auto locking door locks when you get going. They can be turned on and off through the screen.

These things are soooooo popular where I live. One of the many, many few Chrysler vehicles I'd actually consider buying too.
