The newest twin-turbo V12-powered Aston Martin flagship is the latest member of the 700 (hp) Club. It's also the best looking, best sounding, and the best to drive, but who's counting?

You make no sense right now. Anyone that can buy this car, can buy the 812. Which IS the superior GT car.
Aston is out of their minds with these prices considering the competition.

+Do Bo well actually I was just waiting on when people were going to bring up the gtc4 lucso. With a naturally aspirated v12 AND BACK SEATS. I absolutely love the superfast. But I didn't think it qualified as a true gt car. However I did like the Bentley continitntal Supersports comments. However I favor the Bentley gt3 r in comparison to the other Bentleys. But the Bentley gt3 r dosent have back seats.

812 superfast is the ugly duckling of gt cars. super generic too. i dont like the looks of the 720s but at least it is very unique.

Still a fatty in weight. Chassis should of been lightened. For that price most of the body should of been a carbon fibre composite too. The carbon roof should been thrown in at least.
It really isn't different enough from the DB11, nor does it live up to its namesake, to warrant it's extra premium over the DB11 or any extra "specialness". attributed to it.

Every new car needs to race the 720s if it's 300grand or higher. No way I'd pay more for anything less. Especially when the mclaren is running a 4 liter v8 with turbos

it’s sad that cars today are built like lego. look at those unsightly panel gaps. i wouldn’t want to look at that everytime i look at my car.

In 10 years they'll be $50k. For THAT price, may as well buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini, 911 GT2RS, AMG GT R.
There's so many better choices for MUCH cheaper or for that price range. I don't see the justification for that price point, considering the competition.

It is lovely but I don't like the look of the big grille. It looks far too Audi/Lexus. I think the car would look much better with the classic Aston grille from the older DBS.

All that money and all they could stick on the dash was that horrible horrible satnav/infotainment screen.... honestly they should at least make it so it folds away when ya don't want to stare at it. It looks horrendous!

At this point, should you really be charging over $300k for a car with a 0-60 over 3 seconds?

Not a fan of the modern Aston Martin's in outside styling, but the DBS looks the best of the lot. Not a fan of that Mercedes engine sound though. Too common.

freeyourmind88 It’s funny. Apparently in consumer research too many people couldn’t identify the AM badge. That’s a problem when you’ve got big expansion plans.
