They basically downgraded realibility and strength for this aluminum water block. They went from cast iron to aluminum. Good job. I'll be sure to warn others if busted water blocks now.

Why in the world would they switch to a CP4 injector pump? I am in the market for a HD truck and the CP4 is a huge concern for me.

Scotty will steer you to a Toyota, hehe. As a former Toyota owner, Rams are way better made imho, also get much better mpgs.

For your hard working customer you pointed more towards the tradesman. Which doesn’t have LED headlights. Then the head of Ram said these LEDs are adaptive for the hard working customer late at night. Which is only available in Longhorn and Limited trucks which are $75,000+. You’re contradicting yourself. Give the hard working customer those luxuries! Things to help them work late at night not those shitty halogen bulbs.

I've worked for FCA, formerly DaimlerChrysler since 2002. I love the ram products. great to work on, reliable without major issues and good looking. Truth be told.. they are unaffordable along with every other brand out there. For a 32 yr old man like me married with three kids, that works for the company. A 2500 is simply unattainable. To simply get a crew cab with anything other than flat black bumpers and diesel is over$ 50k. That's just absurd. I think it's time to take a new approach instead of adding more tech to drive up cost that will be unavailable to find replacment parts for in ten years.

An Audi s6 has 400mm rotors on it. Rap you head around that for a minute. A 4K lb sport sedan has brakes that dwarf a 9k lb truck that can tow 18 tons.

Look at the size of the DPF - stupid government regulations. RAM trucks are nice but the quality is just not there.

Ford is actually class leading with 5th wheel weight towing. At 32,500. I tow a 5th wheel travel trailer and have been doing it for well over a year. Not a single issue... I run hot shot with a Dodge 3500 Mega. I must admit I totally love that 6.7.....

A shame this motor is attached to a Ram...BY FAR the cheapest, least dependable trucks on the road...not even close. I'm not sure where the QC department is within Chrysler, but they need to start showing up for work when it comes to this truck. You get what you pay foe

I have been a Dodge Ram owner since 95. I bought 7 of those trucks.
The most recent one was bought in July 2018. At 15,000 miles the back
left tire was wearing terribly uneven compared to the rest of the tires.
I took it to the dealer and they were no help. Told me to go to a
Firestone dealer. I went to 2 Firestone dealers and got the same
message..... the dealer will have to warranty this. I contacted Dodge
directly and they said......."we don't warranty tires, here is
firestone's number, at this time we will be closing this case". I said
at this time I will be trading in my 2500 Tradesman and buying a Chevy.
I will never again buy from Dodge if that's how they treated me after
being brand loyal since 1995 and never bothering them about a single
issue. Beware of Firestone tires and Dodge's customer service folks.

Did you trade in your truck over a tire? I would have went to another dealership before taking that step.
