I think the "997" Porsche 911 Turbo is an amazing bargain, with some models selling for close to $50,000 -- and here's why.

To me the word quirky means wierd and abnormal. It doesn't really fit when describing a car.

Doug fact: $51,000 is a lot of money. $69,000 - $70,000 is even more.

      Cheers Doug 👍

Doug is the type of guy to compare a 13 year old car to a brand new car and say it isnt as cool. But I promise a new 911 Turbo will outdo any of those cars. Easily.

I was liking the review of this awesome Porsche, but after hearing your annoyingly high pitched squeeky voice saying "and it costs under 51,000 dollars" for the millionth time in less than 3 minutes I couldn't help but change channels.

3:27 - The steering wheel and center infotainment system in the 996 design... is VERY 90's "classic sedan" cheapo.

It looks super flimsy, and reminds me too much of a standard Buick, than a car i'm paying $30k+ for. It's just so.... generic. Not much is unique.

But the 997 design. Sweet jesus. It's so much better. Not the hugest fan of the center console design, but it's certainly pleasant to look at. The classic "analog clock" thing is a bit tacky, but not that big of an issue.

First he says 0 to 6 is 3.9, then he said 3.6. First he said it had excellent practicality then he gave it a 3 out of 10.

Yes Doug, $51k sounds like a bargain for supercar performance but an additional $10-20k of any unforeseen combination engine and/or tran breakdowns doesn't.
