With luxury SUV's increasing in popularity, every manufacture has been forced to step their game up. Acura and Volvo are easily the epitome of that with their previous generations easily being behind most of the competition in the segment. Not anymore and with entirely new versions of both, which one of this small SUV's deserves your money? Watch the review to find out!

You are by far thee best car reviewer out there sir! I started watching your stuff 2 years ago and when I’m curious about driving dynamics of the newer stuff.... you’re my go-to. Keep up the great work! Oh..... and pleeeeease do a review on the Audi Q8. I have a feeling you are waiting to review the RSQ8 but not all of is will be able to afford that level.

Just bought the aspec white. Love the car. Although it is very difficult getting the white ext and red interior in the tri-state area. If you do, expect to pay the MSRP. I found in going to 3 dealerships that because the car is in high demand and if you want the white with red its very difficult to get below listed price. I actually walked out of a dealership that could not take 2000 off of the MSRP because they said they would have to get that trim level from another dealership.

I have the X60 T5 AWD Rdesign with the added software for more horsepower so getting 275 horses. Sorry no comparison, maybe the engine will have a bit more pop (not much) on the acura but the overall experience is not to be compared. I have had acuras before and i did look into the RDX, nice but never as nice. No comparison. Viking over samurai all day.

The RDX is several thou more than the base XC 60 in Canada. The A-spec even more so. And fro 22 HP you have to put up with that growling engine? Not for everybody.

Why is no one talking about the fact that he said the Acura looked like something from MARVEL comics, then saying, "Especially with the Superman grill"???

The Volvo is more luxurious, but the Acura is an incredible value, at $48k, loaded
If you want to stay under $50k, get the Acura. If you are fine going over $50k, get the Volvo T6

Am I the only one that actually likes the first gen XC60 design just as much as the new design? Volvo designs very elegant and timeless vehicles. They look good for years, and even the first gen still looks modern compared to a lot of other "samey" crossovers out there. And they are powerful, yet fuel efficient and run on regular gas. Underrated vehicles in my opinion.

So calling an Acura Japanese is like saying Holden from Australia an American car

All Acura’s are designed, engineered and assembled in the United States, except the rlx

      f181234 actually you are wrong

This is engineered in the United States,in Ohio, the parts are Japanese but it’s still engineered in the USA

f181234 In reply to Joshua Jacob

Joshua Jacob the design might be American but the Engineering is still done in Japan most of Honda/Acura is engineered in Japan and many parts still come from there as well I work with Automotive suppliers so I see this everyday and just because it’s not sold there doesn’t mean it’s not Japanese did you know Lexus was never sold in Japan until 2005? Meanwhile we’ve had since the late 80s

f181234 true but who designed it? The us

      Were is it assembled?,the us

      Were is it engineered?,the us

And were was it tested?,the us

This thing isn’t even sold in japan so were is the Japanese charm?,only Japanese thing about Acura is the company that owns the darn thing Honda

Keep seeing acuras and thinking they're just fully loaded rav 4s. So bland and boring, and just I'm not paying premium for a reliable sleeper. I wanna pay for something that cool and comfortable

As Randy said about parts, I love this channel and I hope that you can talk a little bit about parts and maintenance, people buy cars and they have to buy the maintenance (if anything happens to the car for a long term). the review will be complete between cars as long as you talk about Parts and maintenance prices.

The RDX is amazing. Volvo will probably have a considerable cost of ownership over time. I’d love to see a special model RDX with a 3 liter turbo and a very good dual clutch or true 6 speed.
