Why do they let someone that can, maybe, recognize a car two out of three times, review any automobiles? DAMN!!

The Aussies sent the car off with 750hp Walkinshaw release. Holden boys Aust. would be able to give more details. This is the shopping version for the wife, well maybe not.

It probably wouldn't have made a lick of difference to Holden's survival if the SS sold well in the US. The 'Button Plan' had decided the fate of the Australian car industry many, many years ago. The best outcome good sales would have achieved is 'maybe' another year or two of production. :-/

The writing was on the already. I believe they shipped more then planned for the last model due to demand. The plan to shut down Holden for the future had already been made.

I have one of these cars here in Australia. Great car, something that a lot of us will miss in the future considering we grew up with V8 fords and Holdens. It's sad to think that the new commodore is either a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder variant. A nice car by all accounts....but for the car enthusiast, the lack of a big V8 muscle car is sad indeed. 🙁

I have never seen or heard of this car...and I see why...its ugly as hell...America makes some of the ugliest cars in the world...except the vette...big dumpy square loud trailor trash cars...except the vette...America does not believe in luxury...aerodynamics...styling..class...2 seaters...or quiet engines. Cars for boys from the trailorpark.

You better lap them up America because the rides over, no more Aussie built muscle for you so enjoy your so called ss and gto s aka commodore and monaros now you can go back to designing more ugly shit like the Cadillac ctv. You think you are the greatest, we've got news for you you can't build shit.

I see GM is still putting that stupid ass "chrome" trim on the dash. Between 4-8 p.m. (depending on season) you have to drive one handed, covering the glare with your other hand. My Acadia has it so I scuffed it up with a scotch brite and made it look like brushed stainless instead of blinding chrome. Also, I put painters tape around it to not scuff the dash.

I'm buying one this weekend in Nightfall Metallic Grey. I grew up in that area that you were driving. Right off of Opdyke. I used to work at the Palace. I thought the area looked familiar when you were going north on 24.

Because the car would've sold in good numbers and shown up the US built chevs for the shit they are. The UAW union in the US wouldn't allow it, same with the Australian built Ford Falcons. 4.0 straight six turbos that are also damn quick and with minimal $ can be made to go fucken scary fast and would eat most US built V8 performance cars.

I think if Chevy were to advertise this car better it would've blown up in sales, it seems like most people have never even heard of it. If there was an ad marketing this towards family people you'd see dads driving this everywhere😂
