I own a 1998 Navigator it has 169368 miles and is still going strong. Great SUV. Bought it on 6 November 1997 had 6 miles on it at the time. Love this SUV.

I'm not buying the hype. A 3.5 engine has to work harder ALL the time for a boost in speed with a twin turbo.. But why have a small engine that has to work so much harder than a V8 !? Boost up the V8 and screw the gas. Smaller is not better.

J Rob so true by it being a big vehicle. I understand if it was a 6 or 8 engine. That what got me going what?

That's what they should have done.. Bumped up the HP on the V8 verses going smaller. That little 3.5 has to work so hard... I got a little 3.5 in my Infiniti. It's not a turbo but but it doesn't need it....That 3.5 in a big SUV is going to be so hot increasing the odds of mechanical failture.. I'm looking for the older model with a V8. I will never go smaller than a V8.

Being a Gator owner ill say one ",Con" you can hear the doors slam shut. This is a horrible issue with Lincoln Gator. The windshields and door leak.
Sorry but with all that cash rolling, one needs to know.
Ty. The 5.4l is a good engine even though Ford makes their vehicles to fall apart. I just found my problem it was the wire harness. People do your home work if you don't like to work on cars, this is not the one for you.

100,000 USD = 7 million Indian Rupees. For 100,000 USD, we in India manage to get only the top trim of BMW X3 (on road price including taxes and insurance). If Indians get the Navigator for 7 million rupees in India, there would be more Navigators on Indian streets than in entire North America.
