Toyota Hilux is in its eight generation. Toyota launched the Hilux in the spring of 1968. The name Hilux comes from the words high and luxury. Over the first several generations the Hilux looked more like a passenger car converted into a pickup, but as of 5th generation onwards, it was clearly an off-road pickup truck. Today Toyota Hilux is synonymous with durability and reliability. In some European markets Toyota is offering 50th anniversary editions limited to 50 units. In Poland we get this orange or while truck with some black stickers on the body, pipe-like sidesteps, bull-bar in the front (I know it’s illegal in some countries), extra LED lighting, and a sealed pickup bed.

Starting price: ~25 000 euro
As tested: ~50 000 euro

      What about the moose test?
Toyota still needs to redesign the suspension. All the features are not necessary if you cannot keep it on the road.
Previous models performed miserably in the moose test.

The 2.8 is garbage with class actions against Toyota ! DPF , air intake , injectors , drive shaft issues etc etc etc . I did in fact buy something that is rock solid reliable and its not a Toyota.

best location for the video coming from the rear camera is on the rear view mirror itself. when they put it on the entertainment crap, and the sun hits that crap, you can't see crap. so it becomes useless. i do not get it, why every manufacturers keeps changing things that work perfectly fine and turn them into useless crap?
