Don't know about England but here in Toronto on average a person travels just 8kms one side or 16kms including return journey. N for these 8kms he pays $3 but I belive it should be $1.5 coz 1litre of diesel costs $1.2. Therefore there is no point in paying double the cost as bus fare as compared to fuel price per litre. Please hit like if someone agrees with me

dsdfsdf dsfsdfds That is the result of privatizing local transit. If its funded by a company and not the countries taxes rider ship prices go up. So keep the TTC public.

A few mistakes that you need to clarify. Transfers need to be obtained where you pay your fare, those obtained at destination station are not valid on routes from that station. Yonge street is pronounced 'Young". The stations and stops are not announced in English Only. Also of note, TTC offers daily, weekly and monthly passes. Presto passes can be used on TTC, GO Transit (regional commuter system) UP (Union Pearson Express) and other Transit systems in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)

A year later and I just came upon this video and your reply as I'm preparing for my trip to Toronto next week from New York City . You seem very knowledgeable and I was wondering if you could help me understand the simplest way to get from Toronto Pearson Airport to Niagara Falls ( an uber or lyft seems to be a staggering $130 ) I'd love to be able to just public transportation but it seems confusing. Any help or tips would be aawesome.~
