      I like the new truck

It looks a little more like a working truck while the 2015 was more like a toy with its huge macho grille

I personally found it difficult to take seriously while this new one is a little more professional in my opinion

Augh. I hate their interiors. By far the worst interiors out of the big five. Gm, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, Ford.

      B & O Play
The painted grills, unfortunetly they are at the wrong end of the model lineup

@testdriventv Sam CORRECTION - The new base engine is a 3.3 Liter V6 not a 3.0. The 3.0 is related to the New Diesel...

Lipstick on a pig! We didn't want our SD owners to be the only one's driving the fugliest trucks on the road. So here ya go half ton soccer mom's. You could have had a AC Cobra inspired grill like the Atlas and Raptor, but Ford want to screw the other 99.999% of their customers!

I don't understand having a diesel in a 1/2 ton truck. It's a 5000 rpm diesel so it wont do well at the pump and it wont haul any more then a standard V8 option. I am also certain it will be in the $55,000 range

    • Hhj Cvvv
Hhj Cvvv In reply to TheSoloAsylum

TheSoloAsylum diesel will always have better fuel efficiency than a gas engine so you will get better fuel mileage the v6 twin turbo ecoboost makes more torque than the v8 so of course the turbo diesel v6 will have a lot more power, plus a diesel is much more reliable. So there really is no down side to the diesel, the diesel is the best choice. the only question is of money.

I have two F350's and six trailers. I do know a little about hauling things. I also happen to have a tuner as well. I don't think you have anything but a big mouth. Put your money where your mouth is chump and the we can talk.

Will the F-150 have too many engine variations in 2020? It will have a diesel, hybrid, a V8, a naturally aspirated V6, and two twin-turbo V6s. Or does it even matter because Ford sells so many F-150s, they can do whatever the hell they want with it and it will sell regardless.

    • House of Diesel
House of Diesel In reply to Elliott Manning

If Ford just pissed away $100 Million engineering the 2.7L to get rid of it and not use that cash to engineer it's own diesel for it's customers they'd have to be the dumbest pencil pushers on the planet. Ford has bought in to the EPA cult of garbage Crony Capitalism and will continue to downsize displacements and resources while continuing to increase the prices for mandated tech garb. The V8 and 3.5 will go bye bye, especially when the NOX emission hit the unleaded auto's in 2020.

    • TestDrivenTV
TestDrivenTV In reply to Elliott Manning

Imagines one of the two EcoBoost V6 engines might go away by then. The diesel is likely to kill one of them and it probably won't be the 3.5.

It bothers me that we already have an f250 and now it looks like they're trying to squeeze that look into a Silverado looking kinda grill. I'm sure this is going to be one of those trucks you need to see in person but they're back to taking the manly out of it again.
