2018 Ford F-150 XLT Sport

The 2018 F-150 body is up to 700 lbs. lighter than the previous generation, made of high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy. Not aluminum in the household sense, but heat-treated and hardened aluminum alloy — the same high-grade 6000-series used in big military and industrial applications. Beneath this aluminum-alloy body is a fully boxed frame made of up to 78 percent high-strength steel.

2018 Ford F-150 EPA Fuel Mileage & Towing Capacity Information

The new F-150 has an EPA estimated rating of 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway and 22 mpg combined which is best-in-class from the second-generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine, plus best-in-class towing (13,200 lbs.) and payload capacity (3,270 lbs.) from the 3.5-liter EcoBoost and enhanced 5.0-liter V8, respectively.

The F-150 can tow more than any other pickup in its class with the powerful 3.5L EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 with port fuel and direct injection (PFDI). This second-generation EcoBoost is rated at 375 horsepower and best-in-class* 470 lb.-ft. of torque, beating out all gas and diesel competitors.

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro at the often tricky maneuver of backing up a trailer, the class-exclusive* available Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ makes it as easy as turning a knob. Simply rotate the knob left or right in the direction you want the trailer to go. F-150 is the first pickup truck to offer this breakthrough feature.

Amazingly, with stock performance and handling components, F-150 Raptor completed the 49th SCORE Baja 1000 with just basic race modifications. Beneath the hood is a 450-hp high-output 3.5L EcoBoost® engine combining with the Torque-On-Demand® transfer case, BFGoodrich® all-terrain tires, FOX Racing Shox™ , available 4.10 front axle with TORSEN® differential. Plus Terrain Management System™ with six driver-selectable modes and Hill Descent Control™

Your praise of the auto start/stop is not representative of what the majority of ford owners say. They all hate this stupid feature and call BS on the gas saving claim. Other than that great video. -Cheers mate

Ford can never seem to make a reliable automatic transmission, nor allow the choice of a 302 v8 in all trims.
Hate the choices made by Ford but damn I like the way they look

Did you turn the sync 3 display to black? That looks SO much better than the light blue and white....IMO

It turns black when it starts to get dark outside just like automatic headlights. The truck was inside creating the same effect as darkness at night. It does this because the light blue and white would be too bright at night distracting the driver.

I got mine back in October. It's a race red XLT sport, 5.0, 4x4. It was 51.8k MSPR, and I got it for 39.5k before ttl and 42.4k OTD. (Rebates were $6k.) Hope that helps.

Great video. My lease on my 2016 explorer is up in about 5 months. I plan to get this same exact configuration but in ruby red. Can you please give me an estimate on how much my lease will come up to. I'm looking to stay within the same range I'm in now or lower. I currently pay $460/month on my explorer
