DRIVE EXCLUSIVE: With only six examples built to date, the Hennessey Venom GT could be considered the fastest street car in the world. Built off the Lotus Exige, this tuner car packs a 1200+ horsepower punch with a theoretical top speed of 272mph. Host Matt Farah takes a quick ride in the million dollar Texas built supercar for the Season 3 premiere of TUNED on DRIVE.

I'm guessing it was Steven Tyler's car, yet he auctioned it off for 800k for charity.

What a shit car.....looks like total crap up close like a poorly made kit car with parts scabbed together from other cars

Every time Hennessy claimed to be doing a run or attempted a run it never panned out......this car has a tough time cracking would need an 80 mile an hour tail wind to even come close to the fastest production car......this will never become a production car neither since Hennessy can't raise the capitol to begin and anyone that shows intrest in wanting one quickly changes their mind when they find out about the horrible build quality and insane astronomical price Hennessy demands for it

Awesome! And I’d be happy with a daily driver in the 500HP range. But what it would be like to just drive it once. WOW 😮

Built for stupid people who's idea of driving is going in a straight line on an open road in America. Here's a video of why America's idea of racing is going around and around a circle with a brick on the accelerator. There's a reason there are almost no American's in any serious world racing series from World Rally to F1. What a joke.

Michael Rednecks don’t surf dumbass... listen to what I’m saying: America makes great off road cars because we have lots of country and undisturbed natural places. Britain makes a lot of small quick road cars because they work well in the streets of cities. Our Ford F-250 works great in the Tennessee countryside, but not in a crowded street. Your lotus exige works great in a crowded street, but not in the Tennessee countryside. Cars are built to do different things...

Michael Dude you need to shut up and think about what this car does for what it costs. It’s faster then a Bugatti Chiron, but costs less then half as much. You play the “god Americans only try and make things go fast in straight lines” card, but where does the fastest production car come from? Oh that’s right: Sweden. Hell at least I can proudly say that I’m not from the same place where the reliant robin was developed. And if you think us Americans like nascar, you’re talking out of your ass. We literally hate it as much if not more then y’all. American cars are not all bad, they’re just made for different things, like how Britain doesn’t make a ton of great off-road vehicles, because they have pretty much no wilderness to use em in.
