if you put 23 car batteries in series you can fast charge them off 230v grid directly with a diode rectifier. saves money on battery chargers.

When I was little, I stuck the positive and negative terminals on a 12v battery together with a paper clip.
The result was a small fire. #almostdied

Ya know why capacitor wouldn't pop?
Cuz electricity touches metal then other head and does actually not enter capacitor.
It just my guess but i think so.

I have experienced that spark before at school
During lunch break, I (a science student) went to my friend's (a commerce student) class. We saw two pieces of wires hanging from the ceiling with their tips uninsulated. He asked me to join both of them to 'check' if they were live. I, a dummy, did so and ....

so, I took his advice, and I didn't do this at home, and, I decided to do it at work, now, 7366 people are out of a job because the building is gone a blaze and now we have no place to conduct business. Thanks a lot , very kind of you to share all the precautionary measures needed to ensure this experiment is done safely.

You can overpower a led with a compassator or elco with variables transistor .
Even a normale LED can damage your eyes . The stoboscope effect prevents burning through because the the led burns 0.002 seconds and is 0.008 seconds of. of a second the led burns 1/5 and is off 4/5 of the time

So you know that DC does not pass through a capacitor once it is charged right? You’re just charging it really quick and then it cares not about the 2KV, the current just thinks the cap is a short circuit
