Does it cause a higher wear not using the clutch during shift? Or are these transmissions different to a car in the way its engineered?

ok. so now you know how to shift this truck. but are you ready to die when you will die? will you go to heaven or hell? are you obeying Jesus the Lord and Messiah? or are you living your own life in your own way and not following him? because when you die, knowing how to shift this truck won't help you a lick.

Once in a while in my little 5-speed stick shift I lose track of what gear I'm in, or what gear I need to shift to next. How do you keep track of it in a truck? Like if a car pulls out in front of you and you need to jam on the brakes, and you lose 30MPH, how to you know what gear to shift to so you can get back up to speed?

I learned to drive class 8 in the mid-1950s - it was a long-nosed LTL Mack with a 300 Cummins and two transmissions. The main box was a 5speed and the 2nd (brownie) was a 4 speed. There were times you had both hands off of the steering wheel and shifting both boxes at the same time. You took the boxes out of gear with the clutch but had to use the throttle to put them back into the proper gears.
This gearbox is as easy as a three speed standard in a car.

Screw that, i had a 2016 freightliner cascadia automatic. Loved that thing in the mountains and in Bumper to bumper traffic. My left knee really loved it. That thing would pull 79k no problem across the rockies except for i-70 around denver.
