I have 1gbps don't need that much speed plus it's unlimited and companies throttle download speed at 300 or 400 or less

I live on the outside edge of town. We only get windstream as a home internet choice. They promised 25mbs but we never got above 1 single megabyte per second. It was 9n average 200 kbs. Just terrible. Most things we tried to use would time out and never start like Netflix YouTube hulu. So we are all forced to get smartphones with mobile hot spots. And add on mobile hotspots. And they work great till we use our first 10 gigs then it slows down to 500 mbs. It's not fair to us to have 20mbs then get choked down so much. I would rather have a steady 5mbs speed all the time. This has been a 10 plus year long struggle to find anything that will let us stream videos and get into online games. I hope 5g will help with our problem but I'm not sure it will.
The worst part about our internet problem is there is a company called vyve that offers 100 mps to our neighbors one street up. But the company won't run a line to our block unless we pay a few thousand dollars to have them run the line.

These 5G towers need to be dismantled wherever they are built, this high speed microwave technology will increase cancers 100 fold besides just messing peoples minds up even more. Internet speed is fast enough already, this is to power the A.I. that will take over ‘Terminator’ style and so they can force us into Smart Cities. Deadly deadly deadly. And the bleating sheep will welcome it. RESIST THIS ILLUMINATI TECHNOLOGY IT WILL KILL YOU.

My harddrive writes at 30 MB/s, and reads at about 100 MB/s. It is external via usb 2.0. So, cpu would also be a bottleneck.
