Cadillac's flagship CT6 is ready to take on the likes of the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class. New for 2018, Cadillac introduces their Super Cruise system - currently the worlds only approved level 2 autonomous driving system. This definitely isn't my Grandpas Cadillac anymore.

My kid had an 2014 ATS, never mind the infotainment screen cracking inside(changed twice), when time to change a headlight, the dealer wanted to charge $648.00 for a single headlight.
They had to take out bumper to change a light bulb. labor charge was around $345.00. talk about how many guys it takes to change a light bulb. Form there we drove to Honda dealer traded ATS and got her a new 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T. We never look back since. not a single problem. Our family try very hard to use American products but, over 600 for a light bulb change??????

I used to buy fords but after buying a used 2014 Cadillac CTS luxury 2.0 turbo with 34,000 miles on it for under 20,000 I know it’s not the V but love the way it looks drives and the leather interior with the wood trim is class
Love the protector lights that turn as you turn the led lights class
The Boise system blows me away
It’s 5 years old and just did the first oil change it has no rust underneath where my 2013 Ford Escape had plenty of rust on bolts and such

It's not a bad car, but definitely no competitor for a $120,000 Mercedes S Class. They may have something with the Platinum 4.2 V8 coming out, which is priced at $97,000. GM is fast to put 10-15,000 off vehicles, so at $80 it would be a steal. I feel most are going to drive out in the 2021 Escalade at retail, which will probably have the Blackwing V8 as standard.

In Europe would be more unique to see it on the road then a Ferrari. But considering our gas prices are 10 times higher then yours Cadillac would needed some 3 liter biturbo diesel engine for our market. All our german cars Merc, BMW, Audi are borring to see, they are everywhere, Cadillac would be so refreshing to see on our roads.

So Cadillac finally gets back to making real “Cadillac’s” and they decide to kill it? Beyond dumb. They are back to putting tinsel on Chevy SUV’s for the future. When is the next bankruptcy scheduled?

You'll never see a professional athlete and a Cadillac you will see them in a Mercedes S class or either BMW 7 Series compare a Cadillac to a Lexus brand that's more of a fair comparison I think Cadillac is much better than Lexus but I don't think it can touch a S-Class sorry I have an S-Class Cadillac is nice but no comparison to the S-Class sorry

I stick with American luxury. I don't want to pay extra taxes for some foreign vehicle and in case of replacing parts it is much more convenient

Your review was good,I really enjoy the CT6 for best design clean lines, until I sat in one. I was slightly disappointed the interior driver space was cramped. The days for cars with the cock-pit feel is out dated in 2017, not much changed until 2018 trunk space is bigger, until GM tweets this model there's another auto maker similar interior layout, and I was freshly surprised, the CX9- Signature,Mazda. The ride is fun not many bells&whistles however its enjoyable and yes I bought the 2018. Happy trails!
I thought I should add I have owned Lincoln-Continentals(4)(1) Cadillac,German and several sports cars

My Second Car at age 17 was a 1973 Fleetwood Brougham with a super Chromed grill add on with the Godesses hair flowing. I thought I was KING of the roads back in 1976. I bought it used from dads my Uncle with almost 65K on it. They drove from NE to Florida each winter and back in the late spring. The car was a perfection and I couldn’t believe it was mine for only $1700. But back in 1979 I was paying $70 a week in gas at $1 a gallon! Hell, I only spend $8 a week now with a new Impala at $3.65 a gallon. Everywhere I drove that old Caddy which wasn’t so old back then I got the looks and the people would wonder how I could afford such a car. I kept that car sparkling but not so much in the maintainance Dept. Back when you only put money in when something broke. I traded it in 1980 for a brand New Car and got $2900 trade allowance towards my new Cougar XR-7. That stickered for just under $10K. Great times but terrible era for cars early 80’s - mid 90’s. Only the Big Boats were decent. and the Trans Am and Iroc Z. Everything else was experiments.
