Stupid bloody beard. That aside, I've been driving these since my 1979 LJ80 and they are a thing of beauty and being small will perform so well off road.

I am ordering my Jimny on Monday. Unfortunately, the expected delivery is March 2020. The 50 year old man, the guy with the beard, who talked on the review, is having hard times, understanding what Jimmy is all about. Even on the road... Poor old man.

I like 4x4 but hate those "SUV" of in Europe that term it's been abused to describe everything that it's a little bit taller than standard sedans and hatchbacks... doesn't matter if they are all wheel drive, 4x4 or 2x4... it's a commercial success that term, for sure... people buys nissan quasqaui (or how the hell it's called) like crazy and they claim thy have an SUV... sorry guys, but for me the true SUV were the old Cherokees, Blazers, Broncos, Discovery and so on... this one it's a true 4x4 and also a true old school SUV but this guy doesn't get it... how fast do you want to drive a proper SUV on the highway anyway? they aren't meant to go fast, they are designed to go almost anywhere to allow you to do the "sports" and the "utilities" that you want to do... X3, X5, Q5, Q7 and so on are just plain dumb for me, but hey, what do i know? I' m 47 and i've been driving 4x4 since i got a driving license and my first vehicle was a Samurai SJ413 in 1990... it was awesome. Sorry for the rant, but now i feel better :)

I had one on hire in St Lucia a couple of days ago and loved it! I used to have a Daihatsu Sportrak and drove it from the UK to the Algarve in Portugal and it never bothered me that it wasn't a motorway car. It just puts a smile on your face driving a real 4x4... I want one now! :)

The boot is not an issue. people that buy a jimny are not buying it for cargo capacity. Plus how often do you actually have more than 2 people in the car. I would probably remove the rear head rests and leave the seats down all the time.
