so he said real world fuel economy was 14.1L/100km. I get that with my 5.0L Coyote engine. That hardly seems worth choosing a 2.7 over the 5.0L. What are you guys getting for mileage? I'm trying to figure out if the next truck should be a 2.7 or 5.0 based on fuel economy.

One more thing the 10 speed transmission helps make it
So fuel efficient ill be cruising
On the highway 70 miles at about 1500 rpms and the light aluminum body makes it do like and nimble rides like a luxury sedan except your sitting right above everybody
With a grin on your face,
      Effortless 😉

I heard 5.0 is always 2-3 MPG more than 2.7.

Just looked at a FX4 but in work truck trim, that is the way to go, who needs carpet, and other shit to break, it's a truck...and they cost a lot less. MSRP is $39,000 and on A-Plan and Rebates I'm looking at $28,000 and with tax $31,000 and before I trade in or anything. Oh that is on a 6.5' Bed a seupercrew, so no 4-doors but again why, 2.7L, it has just enough room and the bed is what matters to me.

Downside is no carpet if that bugs you, and rubber steering wheel, steel rims (can change those out whent he tires wear out) and basic radio but hell it has bluetooth, USB in and everything is power even the drivers seat. 1 last nit-pick is the middle seat is a fold down seat/back but no cubby for shit, although here is a good hidden one under it's seat bottom. I think I'll go this route, only just did the test drive and I felt the 2.7L was just as snappy as the 3.5L.
