I saw this video when it came out, revisiting now because I got a little older and am now in a position to own a motorcycle. Especially with the Ninja 400 hundred coming out and a little bit of age, the Ninja 300s are starting to dip into real $2xxx territory. It's kind of exciting that this happened, it's almost as if the bike has gotten more attractive over the years. Definitely going to be a staple of beginner bikes like the 250 for a long time

I'm either getting this or the 2013 edition. Not sure which one. Kinda leaning towards the 2013 just because it has less miles

Very Good and Mature review , especially from a guy that has ridden a 1,000 cc Bike.
It is what it is , a good bike overall .
And for those who say they would outgrow it after 6 month are wrong.
There is no way a Learner could master that bike in under 2 years , fact.
Just to prove my point then watch this guy on a 250 Bike and be honest with yourself , can you ride this good ?????????

great review!!!I was contemplating the ktm 390 duke because I want to start in a fairly upright position as I've only really ridden trail 125s. I was recently suggested to go in this direction. Would you agree? have you ridden the 390 Duke?

I picked up a new 2017 ninja 300 yesterday. 70 miles on it so far and I agree with your opinion. Im an experienced rider, 40 years old, 6'1 155 pounds 35" inseam.  A little small for me but it actually feels like a pair of shoes that I love so much but are a half size too small but you wear them anyways because they fit great!

I got mine model close out for 4,373 OTD.  they are on sale right now in the U.S. for $2,999 with $250 off for veterans or active duty! Thanks Kawasaki!!

dry509 KTM RC390, Yamaha R3, Benelli 302R. This year Honda may release the 300RR and Kawa may revamp the Ninja with new fairings and updated tech.

If you have the extra money yeah swap the tires out as soon as you conveniently can. Stock tires are not good at all.

Great review. Just got a new 2015 abs version. Any problems with speed wobble? Have read quite a few people having an issue where they needed to change stem bearings to tapered ones. Btw...you sound like an airline pilot. Ahhh...weight of the bike....ahhh..great gas mileage.....ahhh...we'll be landing shortly.
