Hey bro for number 6. The steering wheel. Honestly I prefer the manual steering wheel adjusting. The automatic can be slow sometimes. As you said it’s not a deal breaker. Thanks for the video bro.

PapaBear TX. I concur with you @ 98% of what you have exposed there. Truly appreciate you toke the time to make that video. Nothing there you have said isn't true. How do I know that? I just bought a brand new Laramie Longhorn 2019. Beautiful but full of small things that are destroying the overall assembly. I used to own a 2015 RAM1500 Sport edition (available to Canadian market only by the way). The engine/transmission combination was awesome. The ergonomics was awful. I never had to make any repairs on that vehicle except for one front wheel bearing. Just fuel and oil change. But I had to live with a bunch of small irritants that combined together, make you regret the day you bought the vehicle, I now own the Longhorn for 3 weeks now and I already went to my dealership workshop twice. The LH is full of nice features and FCA had corrected many of the small irritants found on my 2015 but it looks like they've added new ones. It would take so little to make the RAM a perfect machine. Where is that SD card slot we used to have in the console for the music collection? I had to buy a USB memory stick and transfer everything then. The auto-start feature had failed 3 times for the past 3 weeks. This is there to make you save fuel on a red light or at a crowded intersection. The engine stalled for no reason. No error code reported. The only solution for now is restart the engine manually (spitting few swears in the way). Also, there is an annoying vibration between 1500 and 2000 RPM coming from the engine that seems to be miss handled by that new "Noise Cancelling System" which is supposed to annihilate engine and road vibration !!!?? FCA are aware of the problem but I'm still waiting for them to call me to flash that "smart truck app" CPU and make the truck run smooth and quiet as it should be.

@PapaBear TX A few critical issues were fixed just this week. Believe it or not, my RAM has spend 1/2 the month of March in my dealership workshop. ! I took it back yesterday. Most of the issues are gone except for the vibration in the steering wheel and gas pedal. Hope FCA will flash the truck CPU soon.

All FCA needs is to make the 392 an option, power mirrors, power telescope steering and they got a 💯 vehicle!

Odd. Just picked up a 19 Limited, heated seats are almost too hot, I can't even have it on high and I'm in Alberta, Canada where we've had the coldest February in 83 years. When I get in I immediately turn it to low and then after a few minutes to off. Steering wheel is hot too. Haven't tried the A/C of course so we'll see in the summer...... Had a 14 Grand Cherokee Summit prior to the Ram with the HEMI and 8 speed transmission and I find the Ram more powerful. As far as mileage goes the HEMI should never be anyone's choice if mileage is a concern for you. It's likely worst in class and Ram doesn't try to tell you otherwise.

I've tested other heated seats and i think it may just be the Laramie that is a little low. The lone star and limited get pretty warm. Maybe its how the seats are made. I don't know, but I know the rest of the models get pretty warm. And as far as mileage my last 4 vehicles have been hemi's and they've been decent on mpg. I'm not looking for the best in class mpg. I'm looking for the mpg to somewhat come close to the advertised numbers. I don't think that's be unrealistic of me. But as I say, "to each their own". Congrats on your new buy 😊

Max AC just closes off the outside air flow. It should be used only when the the interior temp is lower than the external temp. Also, lower your windows to get the heat out.

I agree with it all. Test drove a 2019 Ram Limited. $70k and no pwr tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Plus, it had the tow mirrors that ARE NOT pwr fold. They're manual fold. Mirror should not hit window. Yes, front leg room an issue. Why would emphasis be put on backseat occupant comfortability over the driver??

I agree with the ac thing. My 2014 1500 is the same and my dad always had problems with his 2004 1500. It must be a ram issue.

I really appreciate you taking the time for some honest feedback. I have a 2016 Rebel that I absolutely love. I’m hoping they add a couple things for the 2020 and then I’ll consider buying it. I really hope FCA watches your video.

Are you comparing the heated seats to previous vehicles you’ve had with cloth seats? Leather definitely always feel like they’re not heating enough compared to cloth.

Really enjoyed your honest opinion. I’ve got a 16 Laramie and was looking at the 2019 merely for the full reclining rear seats. My 3 boys absolutely hate that middle seat. Given your complaints on the 19, I think I’m gonna keep my 2016.

700 miles and my lone star is starting to squeak when I’m applying the brakes. Also get a really annoying drone/vibration when I’m cruising/coasting 40mph or lower. Sounds like I’m riding on the rumble strip on the side of the highway. Also if I use my Apple CarPlay waze app it shows me in Sterling Heights Michigan and sets my clock an hour off. Dealership said they’re aware of the issue but no fix yet. Causes my compass not to calibrate just shows two dashes. 😣

I went to the dealership today and checked out the power folding mirrors. They do NOT hit the window. They come really close, but the thump sound you hear is from the mirror itself. When I checked i kept on watching them close then from the side and used a flash light, I watched them over and over again. They really do look as if they hit the window from inside the truck, but they don't.
