The engine needs a "Lucas oil stabilizer", its too loud for being that new.

Didn't show the full cargo space once the second row seats were folded! Every video, I jump forward to see that first...THEN the bells & whistles!! Otherwise, nice video.

Nice car, but the engine 'option' is sort of lame. Base 184 hp or optional 190 hp. Only 6 hp difference, even though it is a turbo and presumably will be superior at altitude, it's just not much is it. Subaru Forester base 175 hp, turbo 250 hp, now that's a difference. I have read that the 'slip and grip' AWD is improved in the new CRV, it's not entirely reactive now and has some predictive action. Let's see some off road / snow reviews. Probably most buyers don't care anyway, wouldn't know a haldex from a torsen from a CVT.

I love the blue color, but I hate that black leather is not available. Seems like the gray would be tough to clean! Anyone have any recommendations or experience with gray vs black leather? Thanks!

      Nice car. I don't own a CRV 2017.
But I test drove a Honda CRV 2017 EXL model, and still they have the
      driver seat vibration.
It was very obvious when driving at low speed in 2017. Sales man told me
that he will get me another car. I told him No thanks.

Better Honda fixes this rather than ignoring. So before buying please
      test
drive with idling, park, ac on/off, lights on/off, adjust your seats
up/down/forward/backward..some combination makes the front seats
      vibrate...the engineers need
to get something right..looks like this is been lingering for years..
BEWARE. Rest looks great. some might not like exterior - I too but I can live with that.

I like the interior. My only question is, how will the leather seats be holding up after about 6 or 7 years of use? I'm looking to buy a new CR-V this fall, but I can't decide if I want EX or EX-L. The car Im currently driving has cloth, and it'll be 6 years old, come July. The seats are still in perfect condition. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Which ever model I end up choosing, I'll probably end up having it for at least the next 8 years.

Good Review. I do wish they would have opted for brushed aluminum trim over the wood. Seems a hair out of place to me. That being said: I plan on buying the CRV EX!

its a minor thing but i wish on the headlights that when the headlights come on that the led daytime running lamps would turn off. especially if the headlights are halogen and the running lamps are led. don't like that look.

What's the difference between the EX-L and the Touring?

Matthew's Car Corner In reply to Edwin Garcia

The EX-L gives you leather seating, power adjustable seats, power tailgate, and an auto dimming review mirror. The Touring still gives you leather seats, power adjustable, but it gives a hands free power tailgate, full LED headlamps, rain sensing intermittent wipers, and a Garmin based navigation system.

The fucking odometer says 4 miles on it.. no way you did a road test so why lie in the review on the test drive? It has that many miles from unloading and loading from the factory. Also if you did a driving test im positive that you would've included that portion in the video. Maybe someday these dealers will trust you enough to leave the parking lot

Jason Sims Hello Jason, I didn't drive the vehicle shown in the video. A couple of days before the review was shot, I test drove a different CR-V, but with same exact powertrain. I hope to include more test drives on future reviews :)

Can you compare the sound system of the EXL vs the touring and see if
there is any significant differences or the pretty much the same.

Also is the back lights in the cargo area manual or can you set them so that they turn on whenever you open up the back .

      Thanks
