Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the cinematic and the review we did for the 2019 Honda Civic SI! Although VTEC is discontinued, the 1.5L turbo still provided a lot of fun and exhilaration. I'm very happy that the SI stayed to a manual transmission only whereas other manufacturers such as Nissan and Subaru all made Automatic options for their Nismo and STI vehicles. Still a bit disappointed about the power but we did get an increase in torque which I enjoyed. I feel like this is the perfect balance between utility and entry performance while still have the option to pick between a sedan or coupe body style. The price tag? A bit pricey in my opinion. Please let me know what features and options you guys liked that I may have missed. This is RunZe and I will see you guys next Saturday for a brand new episode!

The b16 (1.6ltr/160hp) engine broke the 100hp/ltr record back in 1988 in Japan.

I hope that you don't actually think that a shark-fin antenna is for an "added sporty element."

Edit: great review, though. nice to see a fellow Canadian reviewing. I just recently got a brand-new 2019 Civic Touring.

Which country is the car in the video for? I thought the U.S. version has only halogen headlights.

What if I'm a 51-year-old male who still wants to drive a new Civic Si in 2-door?

I bought my 13 civic from Whitby Oshawa Honda a few years ago. So tempted to go back and trade it in on a 2019 Si.

Hello heat and lag. Goodbye to one of the best things Honda had going.
Repeat of the mid 80's. When emissions standards get tougher, throw a turbo on it.
Can you get a V6 in any Honda sedan?

2112 Bangkok not anymore Geddy Lee. Used to be able to get the accord in a V6 with vetc but they’re all 4 banger turbo’s now.

Wait I'm confused, because is it that it has vtec but it doesn't work like the older version? Because the typer has vtec but it just works a little differently.

Actually Subaru only put the optional CVT in the WRX only, not the STi. The STi is still manual transmission only.

I’m in the market for the si, I’ve wanted one for 20 years. I’m just worried about the reliability in the long run with 205hp in a 1.5L engine. I always keep cars for 8-9 years before I get another one so I hope it has the same reliability as the typical base engines.

I just bought one, picking it up in 2 days. I guess for someone like me who never experienced vtech (unless the 2010 accord touring had vtech) i'll be okay lol but i am excited it's my first manual car.
