The Volvo XC60 is a fine family car. It’s practical, classy, good to drive and scores highly for safety.

Fiddly dashboard buttons and some unrefined diesel engines let it down, but overall the XC60 is one of the best family crossover/SUVs around.

I'd have this over anything German anyway, this thing about all the buttons is pathetic - once you know where they are, it's so easy to use. You have to get used to any new car. My D5 (220hp twin turbo) is super smooth, very quiet for a diesel and performance is superb, plus 40mpg average. It handles and corners like a car - huge fun to drive spiritedly along country roads. Best car I've ever owned,

Love my xc60. Can't wait to pick up the new model when they launch. A toss up between that and the 90 as I could use the extra space.
