Asked and received. There's something elegant about idiots killing themselves doing stupid things.

      This music is simply godawful.

We don't choose our birthday, we don't choose our parent's, we don't choose where were born, we don't get a catalog to choose how we look, we don't choose how or when we leave...leaving doing something you love is a blessing.

The good ole days of racing when the cars were built from steel and would bring a death crushing boom! Gas tanks would explode, blowing the car apart and taking off a head or two!

Still have that Daytona race on VHS... the whole thing ... even a clip from CNN showing the EMT's pumping on his chest as they wheeled into the hospital ... I knew before they announced it that he was gone...

American oval racing is "the" stupidest form of racing and most dangerous bar none. Great idea to put a ton of cars on circular track with concrete walls on the outside, the only place your car will go if control is lost. Boring as fuck aswell.

So very sad and I dont think I could even imagine that there had been so many fatalities which in reality is a drop in the bucket compared to the number of races and the number of drivers but it's always sad when someone dies and before their time but they died doing what they loved and they knew the risks still doesn't make it any less sad ! RIP all the drivers and anyone lost as a result of racing hope the Angel's carried them up to the most beautiful music and they were greeted by their loved ones who went before them and it was the happiest of reunions and that gods face made it all right for them again ! My heart gu ones out to the families who lost their loved one hope they found peace and God eased their pain as he died everyone that loses a loved one and they've come Ty o a place where they've learned to live with it . So so sad I hate that anyone had to die !' RIP drivers ! Time to turn off the engine and rest .!

That Dale crash still makes my eyes tear. I was only 12 when it happened but I remember watching the Daytona 500 with my brothers and seeing the crash at then end and the telecast ending almost immediately so I we didn't know he was seriously hurt and worst off dying that day. My first favorite driver was Dale but he will always be my number 1.
