This week we’ve got the keys to Audi’s latest small sports sedan. Coated in Sepang Blue paint and equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder motor that’s hooked to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox, the 3300 pound S3 is capable of getting from zero to sixty miles per hour in 4.9 seconds and boasts an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Naturally, the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system comes standard on the S3, as does a panoramic sunroof and leather seating. Our tester here is also fitted with the optional 19” Performance Package, which includes five double-spoke Star-design wheels, a set of summer tires, and Audi magnetic ride dampers.

Base MSRP for the 2015 Audi S3 is set at $41,400, while our tester clocks in at $46,645 with the aforementioned Performance Package, the optional Audi MMI Navigation Plus package, and destination charges.

Buen auto definitivamente, pero los pagos mensuales no vale la pena. Los mismos pagos del auto pueden ser mejor usado para otra cosas, como jubilación o algo así pero na ta cabron el carro

Is that really bad road noise or is something flapping against the car in the breeze? Never heard that in one of these POV videos before.

Love the interior on this car, the outside looks are subtle, but the car sounds good overall. Seems like a fun daily driver!

I rather prefer the RS3. Just because of the 5 cylinder and the exhaust sounds. But S3 is also pretty nice.

I would take the S3 2.0 over the Golf R ( same chassis, DSG, engine, platform as the S3). Just a more mature overall package.

As unreliable and problematic as they can be, there is NO matching for VW/Audi's almost unreal DSG transmission. Easily the quickest and best performing auto ever invented. As long as it runs .........

Am looking at this or the Focus RS mk3 and 2. The RS interior put me off but I haven't yet test driven the RS's. The mk2 is loads cheaper at £22k compared to the Audi S3 and the Focus RS mk3. Should I look more into getting an S3 or should I look into the RS or even the mk2 RS?

Christopher Perry I honestly do not mean to offend anyone here but - are you seriously considering a Ford? The interior has been made out of goat shit. Audi is superior in every aspect. Then again, there will be some kid on here that is triggered. Ford uses cheap plastics and what not. The ride is atrocious IMO.

how does the s-tronic compare to the evo x TC-SST honestly? lol both pros and cons

Having owned a EVO X mr and now an Audi S3. I can say that they are about a tie. The SST will not shift for you in manual mode (except when you come to a stop, then down to first). You could drive around in first gear, red-lining and banging off the rev limiter all day if you want. The Super-Sport mode was insane. Shift are about the same speed. The Audi has a better launch control (evo would bog sometimes, And was quick to give you a warning if you did it too many times). Audi's DGS seems stronger than the EVO X's Getrag transmission. My Evo's trans needed to be replaced at 42k miles with signs of failure showing up as early as 20k miles. I have 20k miles on the S3 now and no signs of issues yet. I think they might have improved the transmission on the EVO X in 2010. The replacement transmission I got seemed stronger.

Welp, if i had 40 grand to toss down on one car in 2016, it'd be an Audi S3. golf R in close second.
