      Great news! This is a wonderful platform that offers MANY different channels. If you don't like folks that talk with their hands, I am certain you can find other options.

      I love the driving experience, that’s why I have a motorcycle...right in with the road. But that’s not the daily driver. Currently, a Camry and I put about 3k/mos...mostly highways. But I’m going to test drive a Passat tonight that I’m excited to try. I want to be comfortable driving. Good driver features for highway travel, etc

      switching from 2014 GLI Autobahn to 2016 Passat R-Line, comfort package with Lighting Package. needed more space, end of lease. Will miss the DSG to a degree and extra ponies, but the tiptronic was very quick in the Passat on the paddles. I was surprised. Plus the 19" wheels give it better driving dynamics, albeit with a loss if some technology.

      @MotoManTV,

      Former car, 2015 Passat SEL TDI and filed a lemon law claim in 2 different states concerning the RNS-510 and its failures as well as an oil light issue. Car was replaced with a 1.8 SEL Premium, the same exact one you are driving in this video and I have to agree with you concerning the DSG vs Torque Converter... I wish there was a way I could take out the drive train in my old ride and put it in the new one! but my question to you is Apple Car play, during your test run did you ever experience receiving a text message from someone and pressing the message on the touchscreen for the system to "read" and all it did was hang? screen sits still saying "reading" and does nothing? Enjoyed the video. Please advise. Thanks in advance..

      2016 Passat 1.8 SE with lighting package is all new to me . The ride was a class above every thing in its price range. Quite , heated seats, moon roof, all the power I need, Sirius radio and it,s a V.W. Well I,m back 40+ years later it's not my 1971 V.W.Bug it's new.

      I absolutely positively 100% no doubt with no regrets unmistakably without thinking twice would buy this 2016 Volkswagen Passet Se all over again. On top of all that I would NOT blink an eye because I might miss a second of looking at this beauty. What a fine vehicle.

      Just bought this exact car. Picking it up in three days. It's going to be my wife's car for our 3 kids under 6. My wife has to have the infotainment because if she's driving she has communications, gps, and entertainment all without taking her hands off the wheel.

      Yes Motorman, Driving dynamics is very important to me! I have three considerations for a vehicle which in my case leads me to owning three completely different vehicles. 1. It must be fuel efficient, sporty, great suspension & handle well. 2. It must be practical in the sense it can carry cargo. 3. It must be able to go off road & be able to tow a trailer of at least one ton.
      1. I own a '97 Miata, 2, '05 VW TDI wagon 5-sp, 3. '00 Jeep Cherokee. Oh, I have a light sport tourer adventure motor bike too!

      I had a Passat v6 B5.5 (2001.5), started out "meh" about it, but grew to love it. I came from sport cars with large bolstered seats with agile and firmer suspensions, the passat just was much softer in comparison, BUT as an everyday go getter it's comfort and near-luxury amenities were great. Was a solid car. First car I held onto for longer than 5 years, actually kept it until 2012 and it was going strong. I hear some talk about some of it's faults and issues, but I suppose I had a rare one that had none of that.
      I thought the CC was going to be the next natural progression for me but at the last minute I went another way, I need something to haul and tow motorcycles/mountain bikes and gear.

      I have a 2012 diesel gate Passat. Love it. Handles very well, rides great, very comfortable, and great mileage. Had Hondas loved them dead reliable, but noisy and a little rough riding and dull interior.

      If driving dynamics matter VW already has that taken care of with the CC. I was very close to buying the Passat but it was a dog on the road. I instead bought a CC, it now has springs, sway bars, and an APR tune. That car is really the best mid sized sedan on the market. Also my used 2013 with mods barely broken 20k
