Back in the 70s you couldn't give these away! I had the three wheeled version that had a mini cooper engine and gearbox transplanted into it. Naturally, it was pretty damn quick! Stopping I was a challenge though! Wonder if it's still around? 222 BLK was the reg number.

There is good news :-) They have a "car show" on site for free one the 1st Sunday's of the month from May through September I believe called "Rise N Drive" from I believe 8am to 11am. The garage will be open to see some great cars. Hope that helps even more. Their website should have more details (which is in the text of this video)

Hi Start Art, There is no fee, however this is in a garage for Collectors to keep their cars, so they let you in if you have a car parked there. Since this is a Partner of the Garage, he allowed me to video. Benefit to the Channel if you can see peoples cars, kinda like a Realtor shows you peoples house you usually can't just walk into. Hope that helped, Lou

It’s years since I’ve seen a Berkeley - especially one with all four wheels - and this must be the nicest. Sympathetic modifications by the owner have given this Berkeley a new lease of life. Well done ! And full marks to you, Lou, for tracking this rarity down.

This is just a sweet little dwarf of a car! Love it! It's mini and marvelous!! The style is so pretty n I love the colors, candy colored cuteness. Looks like you could pick it up n hold it and play... fun! The wood look inside is classy n fits because this sounds like a chainsaw rev to me... and that's ok! Excellent vid I look forward to more, they're so enjoyable... onward n upward, n thanks!

Well...Yes and no... They were incredibly crudely put together (Berkeley were primarily a Caravan manufacturer) I very much doubt there are any around that haven't been massively modified. The "Dynastart" feature was truly ghastly. Basically a dynamo that doubled up as a starter motor!

Lou Costabile ...I go to lots of shows and whenever I bring up CCG they talk about how the staff almost tackles them from taking pics. It's too bad they can't get the owners with the most unique cars to bring them out into the parking lot to take questions and/or see the cars as some rides in there are of historical importance i.e. they have an M1 there, First ever Lambo SUV, the mentioned S4 Lancia, Ford RS200 and the BMW 3.0 CSL from the 70's....to name a few. Only the owners can tell their car stories but it would sure be nice to be within 10 feet of these cars, it's really unfortunate and as time goes by noone will show up there anymore and that's the issue here. It's bad enough kids today don't care about cars but when you having living legends that are in hiding, well, IT SUCKS! People at these shows are always respectful, show us some respect.

Lou Costabile ...Right but none is allowed to take pics in there anymore, no matter who does it. Seems the owners don't like it. Their cars and coffee had fallen off of the cliff since doing this, kinda sucks but moving the location didn't help either but we understand that.

You see, there's so many historical cars in there that have a real MY CAR STORY but sadly none can even see them and have others talk about them amongst themselves, truly a sad thing. For instance, they have a Lancia Delta S4 there, made about 200 of them and about 20-25 are left, the rate of the rare. THAT car needs its story told or at least be able to be seen!

These great little cars were built by the Berkeley Coachworks at Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Berkeley built caravans out of GRP (glass-reinforced plastic), but their business was seasonal, so they took on car manufacture to fill in between their regular business. The SE328 was their main export model, but they later built the B95 & B105 models with the more powerful Royal Enfield 692cc twin-cylinder four-stroke engines, which required a distinctive front "snout" to house the larger motors.

The three-wheeler T60 versions appeared in late 1959 to take advantage of the tax loophole which enabled them to be classed as motorcycles, but I believe that one of the restrictions that these vehicles couldn't have a reverse gear.
