The new 2019 Ford Ranger is built in Wayne, Michigan. Here is a first look at the truck on an off-road course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm467VCQN-8

The new Ranger looks too bulky for my tastes. I miss my 1996 Ford Ranger. It would have out lasted any New Ford Ranger coming out today.

+RockandRoll the '19 is assembled in Wayne; it is designed, sourced and fabricated in Rayong Thailand - maybe that's what Terry means?

Don't fight it people until you drive it, you don't need engine options when it already has the options. What the hell, it will tow up to 7,500 lbs, if you wanna tow more, buy an F-150.

It’s a 10 year old truck designed in Australia. It’s looks like a blast from 2009. Ford does have its replacement in the works however. 2022 ish

Price is far too high for what you get. Lots and lots of plastic inside and outside, seats are made for people 5ft 8in and shorter with narrow hips, rear seating is a joke in both cab versions. Bed and tailgate have no provisions for human beings, open the tailgate and watch it fall and crash, stepping into the bed requires a sit-and-roll technique or a short step ladder to assist. And it seems that 80% of the ads show off-road use, driving through mud and dirt and sand, but statistics show that less than 8% of mid-sized trucks are ever used off-road. Even for a fleet or work truck, lowest out-the-door Ranger pricing is just over $28,760.00, while a new and mush more capable Colorado/Canyon fleet truck is just over $25,000.00 out the door. Ford really had their head up their behind when they built and priced these things, and within 1 year, you'll see truckloads of these things sitting on dealers lots, unsold and unwanted.

Is it me or does it look kinda Bla? It doesn’t look aggressive like the F150 maybe bigger more rugged tires to beef it up

13:33 I wish I knew the rational for a speedometer max listed speed. For example on this truck it is 130. On my 2015 Silverado it is 140. My V6 Silverado is speed limited around 105. I can see 120 and I can see 140. But why 130?

Ford is an American company. What in hell is needed to "adapt" to American customers. Such bullshit.

Reasons not to buy the Ranger:
      1) No 2.7L EcoBoost
      2) No diesel option
      3) No LED bed lights
      4) No Ranger Raptor trim
      5) No tailgate dampers

And so begins the death of the American truck, following the demise of the American car with Euro dull designs mated to Euro crap 4 banger motors. Is nothing sacred? Cheers globalists, no really, thanks.

Here in England , Manual Gearbox only comes with the cheapest model. (Poor People) , (company truck), 3litres engine and over cars and trucks are all automatic. The loaded truck is a Look At Me Icon. Never Off Road and Never gets Dirty ! Mums School Run Car.

It sure was the most important truck for the last 8 years in the European and worldwide sales. It was also available with a terrific turbo diesel that they will not release in NA. Rejoice we now get a detuned version of what the rest of the world has been buying for the last 8 years. That being said it is still one hell of a truck and we should have been saying so for at least the last 5 years.
