You have to love our fire service captains always direct you can't blame the captain for yelling he is the one that need to make decisions while on scene he has to get as much Intel as he can before arriving on scene

I've never seen a truck with the propeller light in the front.
Also when I was in middle school I was afraid to push the siren as high as it could go cause I was afraid it would shatter the school window cause of the pitch

I sure miss those days when I was a volunteer fireman and I don't really care about the new siren on the new firetrucks make. I love the way older firetrucks made. I was a volunteer fireman for 17 years from 1984 2001

The Roto-ray looks like a Fidget Spinner with lights on spinning so fast, but nope. It's a light design to get people's attention to pull over.

That engineer was really skilled! That heavy of a truck moving that fast, and going down a wrong way takes some courage.

Very dangerous response. Drove too long and too fast on a one way. Endangering the public is not an appropriate response to the call.

Melvin Williamson Emergency Vehicles are permitted to disregard traffic signals/direction of travel/speed limits while utilizing due regard. Think about if your house was on fire or you/your family was dying. Would you want the responders to take their time getting there waiting at every red light or taking the long way around due to a one way?

pretty sure they're emergency services are permitted to if it saves time to the call location and/or saves time in overtaking other cars.

IDK if this officer is too stressed out, or an idiot, or just a lapse. I don't think his yelling at his guys was called for and I hope he learns he learns his district. Don't yell at your guys for speaking because you haven't studied your map.

@Corey Huntz Yes Haha, sorry I did. There's a lot of factors to think about when going into a call without a doubt

@FireRescue 50 I think you're taking my comment in an aggressive way (that I did not intend while typing), and I can see that I could have chosen my words better. I'm not going to try to make an excuse about having had a long day or anything. I understand the need to raise your voice in some circumstances; I understand not knowing your neighboring districts like the palm of your hand. In the heat of the moment in a loud engine (especially if you don't have a headset system) raising your voice is needed.

FireRescue 50 In reply to Corey Huntz

Sooo you think we should learn every single side street and alley for everyone's districts around us? Cause I can tell you we weren't going to our first due. And he yelled because the driver couldn't hear what he was saying. I'm not sure if you know this but hearing has nothing to do with looking at a map.
