Like every full-size pickup truck, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is available with a variety of cab sizes, bed lengths, engine choices and trim levels. But unlike typical pickup trucks, the trims for the all-new Silverado vary in more than level of equipment; each trim also features distinct styling. In this video, we highlight these 2019 Silverado trim levels.
The base-level trim is the Silverado Work Truck. It features black body cladding and a grille that foregoes the Chevy bow tie in favor of "CHEVROLET" written across the front. This type of front end also appears on the next two trim levels: the Custom and the off-road-oriented Custom Trail Boss. It gets a 2-inch suspension lift, a locking rear differential, skid plates, Rancho shocks and off-road tires.
From there, the bow tie returns on the LT and RST. Although similarly equipped, those two are primarily differentiated by the LT's chrome exterior trim and the RST's body-colored trim. The RST also has a black bow tie instead of the LT's traditional gold.
The LT Trail Boss offers the same off-road upgrades as its Custom sibling, but with a gloss black grille, the black bow tie and extra equipment.
The more luxurious trims are the LTZ (lots of chrome) and the range-topping Silverado High Country that features special lighting elements and bronze accents.

The custom should have had the LED strip like the 2016-2018 Customs did.

Good review. Does the 2019 Silverado 1500 have the optional Brake and Throttle adjuster feature? I have looked but don’t see this in any trim or window Sticker.....Don’t tell me GM left this option off the new gen truck.....

I wonder how many more trucks Chevy could sell if they offered the 6.2 on all trim levels as an option. 420 hp 460 trq with no stupid turbo to go boom boom.

If the turbo goes boom, it's because of idoits like you not letting it cool down

The 5.3 is all most people need though. Although it would be cool to have the 6.2 on the LT for people who like to tow.

None. They don’t offer a regular cab 6 foot bed. I own a 2013 Silverado wt regular cab short bed with 2 wheel drive. I have owned trucks for 30 years and only like and need regular cab short bed. I don’t need 4 wheel drive it seems Chevy doesn’t seem to think that us older truck owners who like a basic truck matter any more. I know people like all the toys I don’t. I had to accept that they don’t offer manual transmissions anymore. It’s to bad that those of us who drove trucks before they were in vogue are being priced out.
