Canada is in shambles with all these minority feel good politics. Do your job, hire the best qualities, and exceed standards and or try, quit falling for racism propoganda. Social standards, not pity party politics. logic doesn't have a color preference it has a standard

GM needs to close it's foreign plants first. Stay with the people and country that made you. Have a little integrity for crying out loud. Show some character.

It's easy and faddish to criticize GM for taking bailout money and then closing plants. But let me ask you all -- what do YOU drive? Because if you drive any German or Japanese car you are driving a brand that was, at one time, MASSIVELY bailed out by government. Whose government you ask? The AMERICAN government. That's right. After WWII the American government, at the expense of the taxpayers, virtually rebuilt the entire European economy. It was called the Marshall Plan and cost 12 billion dollars (over 100 billion in today's money). We did this out of kindness and compassion for our fellow human beings, something that was never done after any war in history. Instead of dominating them we helped them. The same with the Japanese. Their country was ruined, and despite how they mistreated our captured soldiers during the war we forgave them, taught them business, set up their democratic government, and gave them massive amounts of aid. The American people are responsible in large part for the very cars we buy from the Europeans and the Japanese.

The SUV trend was covered fifteen years ago. It's about safety and safety only. People feel safer in a vehicle with a taller profile and a larger body to protect them from impacts. It has nothing to do with versatility. Of course having more room cargo goes a long way in making a car usefull. When you ned to carry two shopping carts full of groceries home you need plenty of cargospace. Also when you have tgree childern tocarry around yiu need enough sears to do that. A sedan could serve that purpous but tgen you only have the trunk to carry groceries. Sedans are not as big as they used to be so for most families the SUV is tge practicsl choice.

Hydrogen cars are the future. Electric only vehicles will never be practical for a private person...only fleets. If we set up "Electric Fuel Stations" It will take an hour per car to charge up....and if you are 3rd in line....This bitch knows nothing about cars.

Ford and GM do not know how to build a car. The foreign competition is much better. If and when gas hits 4.00 a gallon Ford and GM will be done.

These ladies are globalist progressive crazies. I'LL never buy an electric self driving car. Roll me in the grave in one. That's what I'll take to get me in one. Off course these little ladies think Trump's tariffs are causing all these troubles. GM and Ford are in trouble because they forgot their in economic warfare. Open your markets to the enemy. Let the government stick it's nose and tell you what produces to make and let your companies unionize. Your leftist policies have killed you and your twit CEO wants to double down. What a shock. Tesla will never make a legit profit. That's without heavy subsidies. Even with their crazy greenie investors...

At the time gasoline prices were going through the roof GM continued building gas guzzlers while every other manufacturer was building economy vehicles
resulting in near bankruptcy and a massive government bailout. Honda and Toyota have continued beating them to the punch at every level so here we go again. Perhaps the overall game plan is to abandon manufacturing/assembly in the US altogether relying on beloved China and Mexico.
