P.S.A. DO NOT DO ANYTHING THIS GUY DID!!! First off, NEVER guesstimate on how much oil to use. Second, the O-ring replacement was incorrectly placed, third, ALWAYS put your bike on stands for proper level readings, I can almost guarantee he did not drain all the old oil out. This video is wrong on so many levels.

That´s what I use in my ZX9R. Thick cheapo oil. I like the promos. But you changed too soon, IMO. It was all too clean by the filter you can see the cleaniness of this oil charge.

Yes you are a douche but, an informative one except for the female comment. I am a female who takes care of her motorized vehicles. Hey, oil does get hot after running an engine for a while. Peace out ✌

Do not take this guy's advice. Did you see all the grime and crap at the oil reservoir opening? You are supposed to wipe all that shit clean before pouring more oil in because you don't want to get crap into your oil reservoir. This guy is more of a newb than I am and I haven't even started riding my bike.

Thanks, too many videos end up not actually showing what I type, + your commentary made it nicer to watch, thanks bro

Edit: oh the reason I watched this was because Im stupid, and forgot to put the cap back on after putting oil in, then got back home and a whole ton of it poured out (I'm guessing from the overflow), I might of put too much in but its not leaking now, but was mainly looking to know how much the max was, arounds 1.7 liters, thanks since the gauge shows oil now and its not leaking =/ heh

always use motorcycle oil in motorcycles. car oil can cause your clutch to slip and warp the plates. no Bueno.

Kyle Nightingale I just bought a 07 250 and it only had 300 miles on it. Also had a break-in period. Not too uncommon.

Put the oring in the sun for a while to get the kinks out and its half sight glass not the full sight glass .Still cant believe you used car oil. Every sight glass on ALL equipment in the world is standardized to be half full when the equipment is full...so you can see it.Over filling will cause the crank shaft to froth the oil and will starve the motor just the same as if there was no oil.

Sticking you hand in oil is an accident and so is hitting your self in the face. I work in a dealership as a technician, so this happens sometimes.

So my O-ring was like yours and it wasn't perfect. Also, in other videos, the new oil filter snapped on. I don't see how it physically can.

I put it in the bike anyway, gave it a ride, and it's not leaking. Should I be able to sleep tonight, or should something be done immediately?
