In this video, watch MFC Offroad's own Jeep Cherokee KL go off roading on the beaches of Wildwood, NJ during the 2016 NJ Jeep Invasion. I had gotten lucky to cross paths with the owner, he was a pleasure to work with and has a passion for creating and innovating high quality parts. If you're looking to make your Cherokee KL as capable and aesthetically pleasing as shown, look no further than MFC Offroad.

As mentioned, there's only so much a small staff can do in a short amount of time with sand. It's still fun to do and makes for a cool picture or two! Thank you for watching and the feedback though, I appreciate it all.

Yes my 2014 Traihawk has a nasty beak, appears fixed decently for 2018. Regardless, it is off-road capable enough for 99% of us, and it gets 27 mpg. I have no issues with its capability all over SW portion of NM and neighboring AZ, even in the Alpine zones over 8,000 feet., where I try to live every chance I get.

Do you have any problems with your Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

    • OdinVonTogan
OdinVonTogan In reply to Briam Morris

I have had mine since July 2014. I drive in ALL conditions from El Paso, TX to Alpine, AZ and then thru the White Mountains, for example, Big Lake is at 9,000 feet, Mount Baldy peak is 11,420. Google images Morenci Mine (AZ) and Chino Mine (NM) that is where I work and play - it is Rough Country. Also google images Mogollon Mountains, NM. .... PROBLEMS with (2014) TRANSMISSION, but I believe those issues were FIXED for 2018 or even before. Other than the (2014) TRAN, no problems with (parts waranteed) FIXES applied to mine at 105,000, going on 140,000 now, 14 months ago .... SUGGESTED: Learn to use the Manual-Shifting around town, the transmission-brain cannot handle extremely frequent stops and starts perfectly, but your Manual-Speed-Shifting, which is setting the MAX-GEAR, makes it more fun to drive anyhow. Example: Set it at (3), which sets the MAX-GEAR, for up to 25 mph zones, (4) for up to 35, (5) for up to 45, and (6) up to 55, otherwise, it shifts into, for example, 5th gear when you get to 35 but you may need to slow down again soon, so it is better to just limit it to 4th in that case, and so on. .... especially in very hilly areas like the one I live in, aka, foothills.

I agree that the new ones lack capabilities of the old, but I do think they have to market towards a crowd not as interested in wheeling the ways die hard Jeep fans are used to.

My Jeep Story nooooo the new Jeep people are killing the brand to death. How the heck can do rebadge a Fiat Panda and call it a โ€œJeepโ€ Renegade? A jeep has to pass rigorous tests and these new ones couldnt hold a candle to the older ones

Jeep isn't defined by its axles haha. Not my Jeep, but it's still a Jeep whether a previous model Jeep owner thinks so or not. People have passions and ya gotta let them do what they want and mind your own business.

I thought there was supposed to be an obstacle course? The roads by my house are worse than that obstacle course. It was so patheic to see a course like that for Jeeps that could be taken on expeditions and get through just about anything.

    • My Jeep Story
My Jeep Story In reply to BrianScott2133

As I tell almost everyone, it's a sand obstacle course. Sand has little structural integrity and while I understand what you're saying, I didn't build it and there's only so much to be expected out of a sand obstacle course. I do appreciate you watching though and I apologize for the sad course.

I bet a Ford focus could do all that lol. My ZJ would haul ass over all that like it was a cruise down the street. Thats not real off roading. Just little rolling hills.

Literally every Jeep was cruising over this course haha. It's sand, buddy. Not like you can build a rock crawling obstacle from sand.
