POV style review of the brand new BMW X3. The car has a 2L diesel engine that produces 140KW and 400NM of torque. In M-sport trim it looks very good and just like a BMW should, it drives like a dream.

I liked this review. It was detailed and objective with one exception, the drivers console (behind the steering wheel). I have just ordered exactly this car, same 2 litre engine with XDrive and in white. I also looked at the Audi Q5 which, at least optically, is a better looking car. The Audi dashboard (centre console) is indeed sexier and with the ability to have the map on it, an absolute highlight. BMW however have a really excellent latest generation Head Up Display which in my opinion, is the best on the market today and tops the Audi map possibility. I had some doubts about the engine size, You mentioned that the 2 litre is very good. Could you give me some more feedback on this? I test drove the 3 litre diesel and the power is everywhere. Top end, bottom end, every end . I could still change this option if I wish. Thanks Buddy 👍

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I did enjoy the 20d, but in all purposes it was not a "fast" car.. It did pull nicely from every rpm, but i can also even without testing the 30d say, that if i had the money, i would probably get that one. Especially when you mentioned, that you liked the power. If you are in between on whether the power is that important to you, the 20d will be perfectly fine. As for the head up - completely agree with you. One of the best in the market right now. But BMW-s have always had a game for the HUD-s :)
