Can you control the stock rear entertainment system with the new head unit? Does anything need to be wired to the rear DVD player?

Why did you guys replace the 3.5s in the dash with little mini tweets instead of 3.5 two-ways? Thats shoddy

You ALWAYS recommend using new aftermarket wires for the door speakers? Not always dude. If you arent amping the door speakers there is no point in replacing the wire unless is defective. However if you are going to put an amp on the door speakers then always run new wire to match the new higher level wattage.

Do you have to use new wiring if you're just changing the speakers? Like what if I simply just tap into the factory wiring?

I'm not interested in a sub or a amp, just new speakers

Only if your running an amp to them. Not much power coming out a factory deck or aftermarket head unit.

kyle peterson the speakers are probably a better output handling speaker than the previous 6x9 that was in there.

I have 2 fosgate p2 12s(400w rms each) running @1ohm on a pioneer amp that is 1600w peak and 800w rms @1ohm. not a huge sound system, but my lights dim. it's in a 2013 vw Passat s which still has the stock battery with the alternator at 140amps. my lights dim when my bass is hitting, and when I use a volt meter on my battery, volts drop from 13.8-13.9 to 12.5-12.9. what's the easiest way to fix this? don't want to hurt my car.

That strap is shitty as fuck. ABS Plastic, and a router. Fab a damn plate for the tweeters to sit in. That flimsy metal strap is gonna break in no time at all. Then you have a damn tweeter flapping around that huge opening. Sorry guys. Can't help it. My installer OCD kicked in. Lmmfao!

Moto_ bro_24 customer probably paid atleast a grand. probably more like 1100 or 1200. those are like 400 dollar amps and there's 2 of them. set of components and coaxial probably atleast 160 each. and the box is prefabbed for those subs. good to get it like that but that's probably atleast 400 just for that. atleast 100 for amp wiring. and then he opted for new speaker wire idk how much they would charge for that. and then labor lol. probably like a 3hour job

Tee McBride In reply to Alex Tovar

Alex Tovar yu have to ground the wire to a peace a meddle to run the DVD player while drivein ect, if yu get it done professionally they grounded to the e-brake so wen yu pull or push it it'll ground out it's illegal to have a DVD player going while driving that's y they have to
