The 2019 Honda Accord continues what was started last year with the all new redesign of this sedan class leader. Everything was updated from under the hood with it's turbocharged engine, to an all new exterior and interior. Find out if Honda made the right changes to the 2019 Accord and is it a better choice than the Toyota Camry.

I had my 2016 Altima totaled last week, was going to replace it with a new Altima until I started reading the reviews. The crazy thing is the new Accord with all these features are much cheaper than the Altima. I loved the Altima never had a problem, just the Honda seems to be a much better value. I just got a quote 21,500 for a new Honda Accord!!

I have the 6 speed 2.0T sport in San Marino red and I gotta tell you Raiti it is more than great for the money. Plethora of stock options including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, backup camera that beeps for moving vehicles, full power driver seat, leather and cloth seats, sun/moonroof, rear passenger air vents behind the front center console, fog lights, dual exhaust, black chrome front grille, trunk lip spoiler, 19" wheels, plenty of cargo and passenger space. Only thing missing are minor things like side mirror signal lights, no door panel lights, no glovebox light, no navigation... all things I could do without in order to own a 6 speed sport trim with that 2.0 turbocharged i-vetc engine. I will say the 19"wheels do create a bit of road noise and the sound system needs an upgrade, but the handling, the power and torque, the comfort is grade-A for a 32k price tag. Not to mention the Hondata tunes available and aftermarket parts to make it a type r killer, I mean can't get any better. With this car I can be a tamed 4 dr sedan family man or I can be a track day lunatic in this thing. Thank you for reviewing this car, I really wish they would make a 3.0T or a type r version in the future but we'll cross that bridge when we get there and I'll trade the crap out of this thing for any of those options. I can't say it enough, love your videos, love your passion for cars, keep it up Raiti.

The Accord is a better car and I would pick the Accord in a Heartbeat.
However, The pleasure is short term. The CVT and the Turbo mean a considerable dip in Reliability and consequentially, a dip in resale value. Plus they also mean more Mechanic (or dealer) trips.
The Honda drives better, looks better, feels better and is a much better "Driver's car" car overall, the Camry , while being just a Transportation appliance, is better value long term.
Hard choice. I'll go for piece-of-mind and choose the Camry. And going by the sales numbers so far, so do most buyers.

That’s if you buy the motor with the cvt! Buying the motor with Honda’s personally made transmission and flushed in with their motor and turbo I think long term will be in par with the Camry. And maintenance will also be a breeze because of Honda creating its own transmission.

Sick of the CVT bashing. It is the smoothest driving experience available from an ICE car. And it the most efficient transmission. People, if you want shifts, grow a pair and get the manual.

The rear looks ugly and from the side it is wayyy too long. Honda needs a better designer. The toyota sedan looks better aside from the fake rear vents.

Just don't like what Honda has been doing with the front end. Very airy and plasticie. I just can't take the ugliness anymore. Had an Accord since 2002... but it's over. It will be a Mazda 6 or Genesis G70 for me this year.
