Hi! Antonio, thanks for the video. I am planning to purchase a genesis that is 2015 model and has 90k miles on it.

Just want to ask a little advice from you! How much does the repairmen usually cost and how much does the maintenance cost for this car?

I know it’s been a long time, but if you see this comment, please reply! Thank you very much!

Solaz Robert Schulz - I would agree, great review. I wish more of these YouTube reviewers would provide a yearly update/log term video. I myself am thinking about taking the plunge. 2016 fresh off leases for 20-25k..... I worry about the electrical tbh.

You sound like you're trying too hard to be gay, and so you sound phoney. tone it down a bit there bub, and you might sound and be more natural. All that style, and you have a plastic digital watch? tsk, tsk. Learn how to edit, use microphones, and for friggin hells sake, quit drive and using the camera at the same time, you're gonna kill somebody.

I dislike the way people use self driving options, they are meant for safety, instead it enables stupid bad behavior texting, silly , joking dumbasses to not pay attention.

Of course you can't fold the rear seats, because it's not like a E-class but like an S-class with all the electric adjustment in the rear seats you can't fold all that tech anymore.

That was an excellent review. I'm glad your prior Mercedes owner. Could you talk about or do a video on the Hyundai dealership experience. You know how good Mercedes or BMW is. It comes at a price. So gives us your pros and cons of each dealership. Thx Mark

That's a great idea. My dealership is in Concord, N.C. Modern Hyundai and I love them. There is no other dealership that can compare to them in any arena.Tell them Merion Burns sent you. LOL

I got my 55" tv in the back seat of my vw CC! I know it could have fit in the back seat of a Genesis.

Awesome review; thanks. Sounds like a great car, BUT no folding rear sear would be a DEAL BREAKER!!! I've upset they didn't include that -- it's just expected these days. My only car has to be a good "all-arounder". And something with no folding rear seats loses a LOT of utility.

Show Me What I Need To Know sounds unreasonable for it not to be included, I would think it exist and he overlooked it.

Great review mate - Hyundai seems to have done a great job... and so have you.

Would you have the time to put up some comments on the car's audio system? Does it have a sub-woofer set up? What components were used by Hyundai?

Hey there I am looking to purchase soon. You said you get 24 MPG, what mode( eco, normal, or sport) are you driving in?

    • Antonio Zavarce
Antonio Zavarce In reply to Daniel Marks

Daniel Marks Hey! OK so I I get between 23 and 24 mpgs and this is in normal mode, I get a solid 24 mpgs in eco mode. Now that's I've had the car for a year and 1 month I will be doing a long term update and one of the things that I will talk about is how the fuel consumption has in fact remained great. I drive a straight up mixture of highway and city driving, to be more precise, I drive 33 miles a day and 16 of those are in clear highway driving speeds and 17 miles are in city driving with stop and go (the mornings aren't as much of a gridlock as the afternoons which sometimes it would take me 15 minutes to drive one mile...and this is common and often) So yes, after a year owning the Genesis I still stand by the numbers

Thanks for your review.  I didn't know that you can have a car with apps on your phone.  The remote start on the phone will certainly come in handy in where I live.  That's a helpful feature.

My BMW 540i just crapped out on me and although I'm sad about it, it gives me the opportunity to look around for a replacement. Now I'm seriously considering the Genesis G80 as a replacement. I will test drive this week. But your review is *so* useful because it covers a bunch of stuff I'd never consider in a test drive, such as the phone app, the trunk opening, remote starting, etc. And your other review on Android Auto convinced me that I don't really need it; I can go with the native software (which uses Google anyway!). So thanks a heap, Antonio, for this really fantastic review. I hope you're still enjoying your car! Cheers!

Eldrid Palmer it is very fun to drive but it isn't a sports car. Yes it has a lotus tuned suspension and a peppy engine, but the isn't a car you'd take to the track
