I upgraded to a 2019 Acura RDX Advance from a 2017 Acura RDX Advance model. In this video I give an overview of the exterior features and functionality differences that helped me decide to upgrade.

I think so. I bought it at the end of the first month release of a new generation. Supply was limited, and since it was so new it wasn't like they were trying to get rid of them. I was ok with the price.
      i Paid:
$49,045 out the door w/ all taxes, fees etc

Includes 7 Year / 70K Mile Extended Warranty (Transferred Prorated remained from 2017 Warranty)
Includes Remote Start, Acura Protection Package

Put $2,500 down on Credit Card (to get cashback)
      Financed $46,545

100% On the wheels. They're making it so hard for me. I want the ASpec with the Advance Dampers and HUD and Chrome. But I can't get that. So might have to go Advance with wheel upgrade... which is expensive.

MrFligster - Thank you for all of your Acura videos. I find them all very informative. I test drove an Acura last week and like you I don't like the wheels. Do you think 22 inch chrome wheels setup with low profile Pirelli tires work well on your Acura? In other words, do you think they will fit in your Acura's wheel well and have enough clearance? My opinion is 22 inch chrome wheels will be serious eye candy on any 2019 Acura RDX if they fit correctly.

I think chrome wheels in general would look better than the existing wheels on the advance, would probably go well with the rest of the chrome accents. I have seen comments online where others have put 22 inch on previous generation RDXs. Some had to add wheel spacers. To my untrained eye, it looks like it would fit but might close.

Does the advanced model come with remote start?

MrFligster...thanks for the info, I think maybe they should have made navigation an option, and instead included remote start and better wheels....

I believe it is always an option. Mine was a dealer option (not part of OEM sticker) already installed on the vehicle I chose. You can also do remote start with the app, I don't think you need to have the key fob remote start option in order to use the app remote start. But you would need to pay the yearly subscription fee once the trial period ends.

Wheels will transform the look. Unfortunately it puts it over $50,000 total investment. For that you can get some pretty impressive low mile CPO crossovers. For those who like to change vehicles within 3-4 years, I might go that route.

I agree about the wheels on the Advance. There's a dealer option 19" black wheels available. The A-spec wheels are 20".

I like the appearance of the A Spec better with its black accents and test drove one but wanted/needed the adaptive suspension on the Advanced because of the lousy road surfaces here in Silicon Valley where I live. The other added features on the Advanced model that were lacking on the A Spec were deal-makers as well. Also dislike the wheels that came with the Advanced and plan to replace them. Found the black OEM Acura 19-inch wheels that the dealer wants $2K for on e-Bay for $1625 with free shipping and no tax. Haven’t ordered a set yet but plan to very soon unless my local tire/wheel stores have something nearly identical that are significantly cheaper. That’s next on my to-do list. Coming from two MDX’s (2001 and 2006) I am very impressed with the 2019 RDX SH-AWD Advanced model. I opted for the white exterior with the upgraded leather espresso (coffee) interior.

Acura definitely cut corners on the wheels to get ppl to buy their accessory wheels

GiovanniRomano Even the other options aren't great. The only nice ones are on the A-spec imo.

Curious what your real world mileage is? I would have thought the highway mileage would be a little better with the 10 speed auto...seriously looking at this to replace a 2016 Cherokee Overland. Your RDX is stunning - even with those wheels, lol :-)

Look forward to your highway impressions! RDX should look great with black wheels!

Right now the mileage is pretty bad at around 15 for mostly city, but that is a lot of idling while setting up and playing with the car. I plan on driving to the shore tomorrow and will have some better mileage information for highway driving. Next week I should have better overall mileage information as my office is 40 miles away and mostly highway driving as well.

I do love the wheels of the advance model. Why try the 20 inch accessory wheels?

MrFligster I'm having the same issue. I want the A-spec appearance with Advance features. They really messed up their packages.

I think seeing the ASPEC version with the Black Wheels, got me hooked on the black wheels. I am going to try these for a while and then see about pricing out some black ones. I would of got APSEC cause prefer the overall look, but you lose too many features I wanted in Advance
