Nissan hopes that it's new Rogue will tip the scales and become their best selling vehicle. Is this new 2017 revision enough? We compare it to rivals Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester and the Toyota RAV4 to see just how well it stacks up.

I have 160,000 on 2014 rogue. Have to say it has been reliable. Not fast though. May look at 2019 Chevy Equinox 2 turbo or Mazda cx-5 turbo as next purchase. Would be nice if toyota had a more powerful engine in rav4.

I agree with you. Most of them don’t have any of these vehicles. I own the 2017 rouge which is an amazing vehicle to drive daily. I’m buying the 2019 CR-V next year so having two out of the four is a beautiful. Both are great for hiking trips and going to the mountains. The CR-V and the rouge drive very similar to one another and look like the could be identical from side views

Subaru is the ugliest one out of them 3. Rogue has nicest body style and the price for SL with discount could be the best out of them 3.

Now for the long term problems...

The wife has the 2011 Rogue & I have the 2012 Altima. Both has same engine QR 2.5L to be honest these engine are SHIT. They start to consume oil after 36-40K miles.
Old Rogue are made in Japan and so far it holding up pretty well beside engine, don't know about newer Rogue made in USA. On the other hand 2012 Altima has all kind of issues starting at 20K miles like; squeaky brake paddle (according to dealer brake booster need to be replace but not under manufacture warranty since it consider wear/tear pass 12K), battery terminal acid leak (not cover under 36K miles warranty only pro-rate if buy new from Nissan), CVT jerking this happen after 60K miles, Radio completely dead at 37K miles.

Would I buy another Nissan? Answer is simple, NO. I've own and drove many Japanese cars and most reliable car is Toyota hand down. Honda may have good engine but they uses cheap materials includes and down to nuts/bolts.

Are you sure the Nissan Rogue is the rival of the CR-V, Forester, Rav4 and Mazda CX-5?? I thought the X-Trail fits more

But the Forester is the most favorable, most capable, most practical and most slipless, because Subaru is the leader of AWD, they expand the sight visibility for a lot of drivers, because they want to stop more peoples dying in an accident

They also added another pair of eyes to look on the road as a safety feature, very realistic

@Maor Haimovitz I bought a 2018 1.6 turbo petrol front wheel drive one. Oh and it's manual. Also I got one with every possible option they got leather seat and more. It weighs 1480kg and 165hp is plenty. Really happy with it. But of course I respect your opinion.

@tinoushgtr the way I wrote the other comment was written in an awful, misleading way, I will edit it. I dont think that Nissan is a garbage car . Nissan makes excellent cars, I just personally do not like the rogue because I heard that the CVT transmission causes a bunch of problems to alot of people. I also do not find anything special about the rogue because it's AWD system does not get near as good as Subaru's AWD. While Subaru AWD works all of the time, Nissan AWD on the rogue works only when wheels spins and the other wheels need grip. But Nissan makes some of the best sport cars out there, their AWD on the Skylake/GTR is amazing and works all of the time . Nissan definitely make really good cars, but the CVT is what is bothering me.

The CVT transmission on nissan is shit and unreliable. Subaru is the only company that make good SUV's these day( CVT on Subaru is decent, but automatic or manual always preferred).

In terms of looks, the rav4 wins. In terms of practicality, the forester wins. Rogue gets the right amount pf both

Another comercial of Nissan. . compare the top/best class of Nissan and the lower class everything else. .. And out of the 9 minute review 6 minutes is of Rogue and other 2:48 minutes is of the other 3 crossovers. . This must be a paid advertisement of Nissan and not a comparison of the 4 crossovers as there is only one review ROGUE. others are only in the title not reviews or comparison . get a life

One of the dumbest reviews - and I've seen lots' of them. Either fix the title of your video or just remove it. You are not comparing 2017 CRV and you are not comparing comparable trims.
