1:26 the X3 is a small suv, big eyebrow little man.

When making a review video, they misunderstood it with a promotion video. Check carbuyer, they do it right! Say it pros and cons too

The rear seats do not fold really flat unlike in the Volvo XC60. So limits loading space.
Also not good for going off the road with those run-flat tyres. Personally I find the styling messy with crease lines at odd places. Also expensive to maintain because of repairs( see JD Power 2012 report.)

Limited cargo space? Every other review I've seen or read praises the cargo space, both in terms of size and accessibility. What are you comparing it to?

Also, you have the M-sport package on that car, which includes so much, and the only nod to it was "sport seats"????

      love those rims!

hope they change the lamps inside the car to LED on their upcoming 2014 X3 LCI

I really like the first generation better, don´t ask me why, I just love it! The 2012 one is gorgeous too, and it seems like everyone likes the 2012 vesion better, but for me the 1st generation as a special place in my heart, and I definitely want to buy one!

in-line 4 twin turbos on the 28i starting from year 2013 onwards

Looking to get one, but I thought the 28i was an in-line 4 twin turbo, not an in-line 6 as described in the video... Looking at the brochure now, no in-line 6 available in the 28i, only the 35i.

Yes -- there are almost always some positions open. We're continuing to grow steadily.

Some cars do come from automakers, some from dealers and we occasionally even have to rent one. There aren't currently any openings on the editorial team, but there are lots of job openings at AutoTrader. Just check our website for the "Jobs" link at the bottom of the page. Once you get your foot in the door, there are lots of opportunities for growth -- we like to promote from within.

With the rear seats folded down, the story is roughly the same. The CR-V has 71 cu ft and the RAV4 has 73. The X3 has just 57 cu ft. The Q5 has about the same, and the GLK has a little less.

The X3 has about 30% less cargo space than either the Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4, two of the bestselling compact crossovers. With the rear seats up, the X3 has about 27 cu ft of cargo space, while the CR-V and RAV4 both have around 37 cu ft. Looking just to luxury crossovers, cargo space in the Acura RDX is roughly the same as in the X3. The Audi Q5 has a bit more and the Mercedes GLK has a bit less.

Relative to what?, this car has excellent space for its class. Add 3 way folding seats, no boot lip, and an almost completely flat loading bay and you have a great camper that will swallow the largest off luggage with ease. You could have complained about the futility of the mile seat in the back, or the price, or anything for that matter, as long as you back it up with solid proof.

      Good luck!

You have what it takes to be someone and that is the "Dream". I wish you the best and I'm sure you will make. Education always helps. You might want to consider Mechanical Engineering or related technical degrees. The good thing about ME is that it gives you several options down the road in your life.

A good way to get started is to go ahead and create content about cars now -- any way you can. You can start your own blog, submit stuff to other sites, create your own YouTube videos, Tweet it or build a Facebook page. Talk about whatever you can -- your own car, your friends' cars, your parents cars, etc. You might be able to find someone at a dealership who will let you check out their cars (especially once you have some stuff to show).

Like most things, it's a lot about being in the right place at the right time. Some of us did go to school for journalism and others have video backgrounds -- and some of us are just plain lucky. It helps to love cars. AutoTrader is always looking for motivated employees -- once you get your foot in the door, there are lots of opportunities for growth.

Still forgettable, the front looks like it jumped out of the 1990s... Dependable is not a work that comes to mind with BMW. With the X1, what's the point? It's not much bigger. It's a $4G difference, better to put that $ into options on the X1
