@Taka Yama I have an extensive collection of digital music. I use USB drives daily. I know CD's have almost gone extinct however I prefer their use rather than swiping through menus which takes my eyes off the road. Also, I find the CD jewel cases, which I have arranged alphabetically in my collection easy to find. Technology is great but only when it improves the users overall experience.

Perimeter sensor and Ford Pass code. Who wants to deal with all that? Not me. I hope these frustrating levels of complexity are not in all F-150s.

Another thing I found out was: in Drive, you can trim off the higher-gears one by one using the shifter +- buttons. This is essentially an OD off mode, but you can bring it all the way down to 1st gear if you want!

Awesome video. I bought an XLT 2 weeks ago at a dealership 50 miles away. They emailed to say Ford no longer sends them the door code, but they need to hook it up to their computer to get the code. Not after watching this video. I put on key in, turned it on (not start engine). Turned it off and put the OTHER key in. Turned it on and there was the factory door code. NICE!!! Thanks, man.

You should call this video "9 cool features you don't have if you bought an XL." (Says the owner of a 2018 XL STX - but I do at least have Sync3/ Android Auto)

If the battery goes completely dead on 2015 King ranch you cannot unlock the door. The key will not work. It will turn the lock but it will not unlock the door. If you have to break in go to the passengerside because the door handle on the driverside door will not unlock door. Ask me how I know?

what is the point of the door code if you need the key fob to start the car. Unless maybe you lock the fob in the truck somehow.

Great video. I got a little nervous when you threw those key fobs out the window. I'm sure they are quite expensive to replace if they were to break. Thanks for the info. Very useful!

Not a fan of those active grill shutters. A coworker of mine had a rock go through her grill and break them, and it was $1,200 to replace or $500 deductible to file on insurance.

Seems like the salesmen/women don't know their product if they're not going through it with the customer when they pick up their vehicle and not telling them about the unique features of the vehicle. Here's the keys, any questions? Read the Owner's Manual, it should answer any questions you have. LOL!!
