2015 Indian Scout Review

America. One word, one country, and a whole lot of awesome. The new 2015 Indian Scout pulls from the longest lineage of American motorcycle craftsmanship that there is, and takes it to the next level. Indian motorcycles were here before any other American motorcycle company and from day one they have carved out a well-earned place at the top-tier of open-road cruiser style, comfort, functionality, and performance. With the introduction of the Indian Scout, America’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer tapped into an entirely new market that has previously been dominated by a short list of competitors. In doing so, they have provided a marquee option for riders who are in search of a timeless, sophisticated, and absolutely premium USA freedom mobile.

Awesome review, but not realistic... I am still waiting to see the HONEST review where some guy is talking about how sweet of a ride it is, and that it is such an eye pleaser that he hooked up with a hot chick way out of his league and he ended up married to her and after the second child she made him get rid of the bike due to practicality.... so in essence the bike ruined his life, and made the cycle perpetuate because the guy he sold it to a year ago is now selling it because the chick he caught that was way out of his league is preggers with twins and making him sell it.....

Anyone who says they have never seen that happen is a liar or blind.....

Reality usually sux..... but a nice review other than that glaring flaw.

@Adam Szymanski I'm 6'2 also and I found myself wanting to sit further back on the seat than where you're supposed to sit. But I found the scout bobber more comfortable and most likely my next bike.

In my opinion, it's fine as a commuter. I'd recommend you go schedule a test ride on one to get a better idea of how it might work for you. -DrewZilla

I have a 2018 Indian Scout and I love it, the issues in this video are not any concern of mine. The bike gets a lot of attention and people usually ask "When did Indian started making motorcycles again?" I changed the headlight to the Indian LED and added the tan leather bags.

It's not a touring bike or a sport bike. But without a good dollop of low end torque, it fails as a cruiser too. Shame......they should have made the motor a stroker.instead of an over square high rpm unit. Wonder how Triumph's bobber stacks up

I looked at this, the HD Breakout, Honda Fury, and the Yamaha Raider. Have to say I LOVE my Raider S black and chrome! You can get them new all day on cycletrader.com as old as a 15' new with no miles for $12K.

So as a first cruiser, but a second/third bike, would this be a good idea for someone who's 6'5? That's part of why I chose an ADV to start

Shadow 3091 I just got a 2018 scout myself it’s a really fun bike im 6 feet tall and I desperately need to get a extended seat my legs are just to long. After about 30 minutes of riding my legs feel weak from holding them to the frame, my legs just want to bow out which isn’t good. Other than that I really like it. I’d recommend test riding it at a dealership first of course. Best of luck!

Is the Indian scout a particular sub style of motorcycle? I like how the tank sits low along with the headlight, and how it seems a bit longer in the front end as a result, know what I mean? I like the looks but I'm just wondering if it's the scout and only the scout that looks like this

Since Indian released the Scout, I can't believe people are still paying dealership prices for Sportsters: the most lethargic 60hp ever put in a motorcycle.
