It’s really nice but for that much money I’d buy a full size truck

+DeLo Enterprises Seen this lag in a few other videos. Maybe those were in cold climates can't remember. Regardless, Ford's MSRP is about 5K over GM/Toy in XLT/Lariat trim. RIght now with pent up demand and lower capacities I can see some selling at this ridiculous price. I skipped over this recently. Dealer was marking it up 5K over MSRP. I ended up buying a loaded Frontier Pro 4X that had a ton more features then the plain XLT they were trying to sell.

It was also cold out, in most cases the extreme cold will make electronics (especially touchscreens) slower.

Wow Ford must be asleep at the wheel! Very unimpressed didn’t show but the back seat doesn’t even fold flat! I’ll stick to another Tacoma thank you!

The window controls are awkward I totally agree.

One of the design flaws carried over from the eight-year-old t6 from Australia. Don't get me started on the center stack and instrument cluster or even the power window controls very awkward. Ergonomics is not a plus. this thing looks more like a cluttered up fusion if you ask me. No doubt they dipped into the parts bin on the fusion.

42K??? 👎 I heard the leadtimes are very short as people are buying more F150s than Ford Rangers.

+DeLo Enterprises Did they actually bring back rebates? I know they had that pre order one for 750 dollars before release. But after that full pop. And even one dealer near me was smoking crack and wanted 5K over MSRP (dealer addendum). I payed 35K cash the same day to my local Nissan dealer and got a Frontier Pro 4X and love it. I got a better truck for 10K less. At those MSRP the rangers will rot on the lots once they fill the pipe. Only the new adopters/fools will pay this much for a mid size. Ford even thinking their truck is worth 5K more then a loaded tacoma offroad. Well see how long that last.

+DeLo Enterprises Not with this generation. The Australian T6 was only designed for an inline motor. So no 2.7 eco like everybody is crying for. So in this generation, which is actually 8 years old (T6 platform) will only get the 2.3. Ford won't make a raptor based on that motor. They know buyers will not tolerate it. So it will be in the next generation. I don't see that happening for at least 3 years. Again, there will NOT be a raptor because Ford has hit a wall, and the limitations of the original design. This is just a rush job to get something to market since GM/toy were owning them in lost sales in segment. That is, a global T6 with a mustang motor and fusion center stack and gauges. Also they threw in steel bumpers. Just took an existing truck from overseas and went to their parts bin for everything else. Too bad they did not design something from the ground up. But they waited too long.
