When I was handed the keys to the all-new, 5th generation Ram 1500, I was greeted with the top trim Limited featuring the well-know 5.7L Hemi. The Ram faces off against the Ford F-150, Nissan Titan and all-new Chevy Silverado. Does the Ram have what it takes to be the best in class?

Somebody needs to scoop this guy and create a position for him.

Brilliantly keen observation skills, efficient to-the-point communication, and an almost harsh forwardness that reveals truth but with enough charm to stop short of being insulting.

This is an extremely rare combination of talents. Case in point, compare to hundreds of other Youtubers who can barely speak properly.

After almost a year after being released, nobody except this guy has ever noticed the rams horns hidden in the grill-top chrome trim. Astonishing.

Like that you actually had opinions on the thing and didn’t just reiterate the brochure. Also eTorque doesn’t add, it supplements gaps in the gas motor up to the stock numbers but won’t add anything above and beyond.

I picked up my 2019 RAM BigHorn last week. In my 25 years of driving GM trucks, the RAM blows them away. I test drove a 2019 Silverado High Country and my mid level RAM crushes it. If Chrysler brings the Grand Cherokee to this level, I will trade my wife’s XT5 in immediately. Great job FCA

For me one of the biggest things in a truck is safety. Truthfully I have no practical reason to buy a truck outside of driving a safe tank of a vehicle and I just like how they look. Considering the fact that these trucks are getting better mileage than ever before, really no reason to not buy one, outside of parking issues but who cares. Glad to see that the 2019 year Ram has performed incredibly well in the IIHS' safety scoring system. Definitely on my radar now. Great review as always.

ram is too fancy for being a truck, but at the same time its also pretty attractive and beautiful from the outside. But in my opinion the 1794 Toyota tundra is a much better option as its also very good looking, the only thing is that if it would be platinum or 1794 edition. They are not too fancy from the inside its a good thing,in like ford GMC,toyota,Nissan and dodge kept there v8 engines which are far more better than the ford engines they also don't rely on turbo aids.the word "truck" means ruggedness, toughness, power and reliability which only Toyota,Nissan and GMC gives. The ram air suspension after a while malfunction also the standard coil springs because they can't resist too much weight.

even a baseline RAM 1500 is an excellent truck / great work truck / and a good value.
have to agree with all your observations. the Econ engine mode in mine
is quite smooth. only the dash icon to notice as it switches in and out of active modes.
if RAM ever asked me for an improvement i'd suggest a City driving hybrid battery assist that would definitely
beat even a 4 cylinder Hemi in City stop and go driving.
      great review.

      Excellent informative review!

Thank you for the best review I have found on this truck. A lot more info than many of the other reviews, concentrating on what's important. Have, or will you review a RAM 2500 Limited?

Make sure yall get that extended warranty/lifetime warranty, I can only imagine when transmissions, air-ride suspension, the 12inch screen etc goes out and cost to fix... FCA is garbage... they add all these extras to hide the fact they are crap for vehicles..

I'm not a fan of the chrome but there's plenty ways to fix that. A blacked out Limited with the beige leather seats like this one tick's all the boxes for me. Absolutely love what Ram has done this year. It's seems like they are years ahead of competition. Great review, thumbs up, subscribed!

Hate that new screen, way to big and I hate how it's taller than it is wide, can you get the simpler stereo in the higher trim levels?
