Really surprised with the vitara. It has been the clear winner in the other reviews as well. It's either they are telling the truth via coincidence or suzuki has bribed all of them. Cheers for the boosterjet.

The xv is the most equipment car, more ground clearence, x mode and best off road capability, the best security score ( best safety car built in the history in japan), all wheel drive. Overall a best car.

I don't care which car they say is the best. My money is on the Kona. I don't need the best. I want what I want.

Feels wierd not only seeing new Suzuki models, but also winning a comparo against some heavy hitter Japanese/Korean competition. When I say "wierd" it's because Suzuki has been gone from North America for about 6 years now, and I rarely see any on the road these days. I do wish they had stuck around so I could see where they could take the Kizashi...great platform held back by an ancient engine making too little power and then the head scratching decision of mating it to an also ancient Nissan CVT. (Manual was available, but wasn't great either)

Bob Goudreau In my heart it is too. But the 1.6L turbo version with dual clutch, AWD and multilink suspension.

It is so annoying when manufacturers insist on giving the base cars shitty engines, like the Kona and Vitara. And what's with the awful rear/blind spot vision in modern cars lately. Anyway, the Toyota and Hyundai are compromised and way over styled. The Subaru is probably the best car here, but the engine is slow and thirsty. So I'd probably take the Suzuki and begrudgingly pay for the turbo engine.

Why test the base engine in the Kona then ding it for power? The avaible 1.6t has more power (175 bhp/195 torque or 130 kw/265 nm) than anything available from the competitors.

well still the best for a reason. subaru is long like a train with smalest boot. kona is just plastic moving shit. honda claustrophobic and not practical.
