Have you ever been to Houston, Texas? That's my home. We're pretty multicultural, with over 90 languages spoken here. A lot of people think Texas is nothing a bunch of cowboys living on ranches but there is a whole lot more to us than that. Just warning you: it gets mighty hot here in the summertime.

+faiz Ahmed We do have cowboys in our state. West Texas is where you'll find deserts and mountains like you see in Weatern movies . There are also forests on the east, hills in the central part of the state and flat prairie in the panhandle. We're pretty diverse.

Trying to understand the appeal. I was there in February. Filthy dirt and salt everywhere. Black frozen snow on the roadside. Shoes covered in salty slop Litter all over. What a pig sty. Okay for a short visit. Otherwise, very blah. People who love it there have never lived anyplace else I guess.
