The 1994 Acura Legend Coupe was a seriously cool Acura -- if you can believe it. Today I'm reviewing this Legend Coupe and I'm showing you why the Acura Legend used to be a cool, exciting car.

C'mon Doug, it's FWD. Focus on the drivetrain on these videos a little more. I like your videos, I would love them if you elaborated more on the component that is the heart and soul of the car -- the engine.

Has anyone noticed This guy doesn't know what he is talking about the Foam in the rear is to be removed to fit the flat tire. the type 2 engine has bigger cams all forged internals it can push 400 to 600 hp. it has air hydrolic damping suspension it it the best of the best of acura and thay still cant make a car as good as the legend I wish thay will remake the legend and have all the modern things and the old 90's Accessories a car that is reliable fun to drive and a aamasing thing to look at for the 90's peaple not the new Egg style compact cars look at all new Lexus models honda models American models and European cars thay all look like deformed eggs

No mention of the Longitudinal engine? I think that was cool and Honda intended this car to be originally RWD

My Mom had an 88 Coupe L manual and later a gf and I purchased an 88 Coupe LS auto that we later replaced with an 01 3.0 CL. All fantastic and enjoyable cars, but Mom’s 88 manual was the best of the bunch. Although I was never impressed with the shifting of Honda’s extremely plastic-y feel, that little luxury Coupe sure loved to pull through the revs to the next shift. Years later, when I drove my first 1st gen NSX I found that exact same plastic snick/feel and that seemingly unlimited linear power to be the same, albeit with a bit more snarl and a much longer rev range. Very enjoyable and reliable all the way around. Plus fighting torque steer while slaying a few IROCs between redlights at 16 in “Mom’s” car was a blast!

I love it! I personally like the sedans especially, but clarion builds did an amazing job with that coupe.

Loved the Legend back in the day. I had what essentially was it's competitor from Lexus, the SC. Had a '93 SC400 although the SC300 was more the direct competitor. The SC400 was a RWD V8. This review reminds me that Doug hasn't reviewed one, although he did the original LS. There are some prestine 1st gen SC's out there. Doug, please find one to review! It's a classic.

I think the sunroof being on the driver side like that might be a honda/Acura thing. Late 90's early 2000's Honda's have them on that side

The headlight warning thing sounds a lot like the spedometer warning chime some JDM cars had for when you were going over the speed limit.
