If you can give me some more information on the paddle shifters and how you really use them that’d be great. I think I switched my decision on getting the regular accord to the hybrid accord. More power, more gas mileage, less sound in the car? Seems like a way better deal. I like the buttons for drive and reverse seems more futuristic then the standard shifter for an automatic.

Does this hybrid sacrifice and torque or does it actually improve it getting the direct power from the engine? And the hybrid engine self-chargers with the paddle shifters?

So do u need to hit the button to regen break or can you apply normal breaks? And how would u give up hp if it’s stated at 212 on hybrid compared to 192 for standard accord?

So on the Hybrid you would give up HP but pick up on the torque over the regular Accord. I would always encourage you to stop by a dealership and drive both. They are going to drive differently. The paddle shifters on the hybrid can be used to down shift and regenerate the charge of the battery. So depending on how active you want to be you can keep the charge up quite a bit.

You gave me a better understanding of all the buttons in my car. i would have loved for you to explain how remove the neutral and temporary break, as i got stuck the other day on neutral, and have no idea how i removed it. lol, also how the proximity sensors work.

Justin, I look forward to visiting your dealership in the next 3-4 years when I move out to the 512/210 areas, preferably around Kyle, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas.
Greetings and salutations from a patriot trapped in Southern California!

In the meantime, I'll be concluding my lease on my 2016 VW GLI this coming April for an Accord Hybrid EX-L or Touring, depending whether there is a significant gap in lease payments or not. Purchasing isn't in my ballpark yet only because my commutes are brief, money is tight (our stupid gas prices and over-taxation don't help), and I'm saving for a house out in your area. I've only driven 12,500 miles in the 27 months that I've had this car and I'm ready for a cozier ride. The Hybrid EX-L was a fantastic tester on city and highway!

How do you get a digital mph reading?

Only on the Touring version you can since a digital mph readout will be on the Heads Up Display that you can see on the windshield.

What is the blank steering wheel button under "main" for?

It is just a space holder to allow the steering wheel to look more symmetrical.

Does the car come with parking sensors on the real bumper?

Hey Karen, I just bought this model and added the front sensors only. Just adding the front comes up to $950. If you also want to add the rear, it's another $950 (rear is not necessary in my opinion because you have the camera)

The parking sensors come standard on the Touring. But you can add them to any model via the dealership.

Thanks for your reply.  Does it come standard on any of the trim lines?   If not, is this an accessory that can be added at the dealership?

Karen Pike this trim level does not come with parking sensors, but they are offered as an accessory you can customize the car with.
