      Very good result! It looks like they've designed the structure to deflect the car in narrow overlap situations and help keep intrusion out of the passenger cell, it seems to work!

      I'm shocked at just how well it held up. It looks like a lot of energy was deflected by the car sliding way over to the passenger side during the impact. Most cars I've seen on this test come to a complete stop first then bounce over.

      I think that the removal of the headrest is a wrong decision. The kinetic energy must be absorbed by it in case the head goes forth and back, after the abrupt stop! Otherwise the neck might snap like a twig, because only the spine will be stopped!
      But the IIHS guys might know something more, I guess!

      MafiosoItaliano458 there is a separate test more extensive test specifically for whiplash rating which involves the whole seat including headrest performance. This one is stricly small overlap and therefore different angles for camara are needed for analysis
